    TIP OF THE WEEK:

Scott Bossman: I'm reading and listening to two books right now that complement each other well, what I'm listening to is “Personality Isn't Permanent” by Benjamin Hardy and the other one that I'm reading is “Limitless” by Jim Kwik. Limitless is great because it's all about our unlimited potential and purpose in life and even if we continue to get older, our brain mature, and all of these strategies that you can employ to become smarter over time and to push your boundaries physiologically and psychologically. Benjamin Hardy's book talks a lot about having a purpose-driven life.

What You Need To Create Success In Multifamily Real Estate Sep 03, 2020
    Show notes

At a very young age, Agostino had already developed a love for entrepreneurship and a burning desire to one day create and own a software company. However, after having his family and society’s expectations weighing heavily on his shoulders to work a regular 40 hours job, Agostino dream of becoming an entrepreneur was put on hold and he went on to fulfill these expectations.

Over the years he had some success while working for several great companies but one day everything changed when he was released from his job. With no direction and financially broken, Agostino was introduced into large real estate deals that changed the entire course of his life. He ended up building a real estate portfolio, general partnering over $40 million of deals in 20 months and today he helps people get into the real estate deals of their own and build their own wealth.

With a focus on multifamily investing, he has combined his passion for real estate with his personal philosophy of goal setting and manifesting success to change the way people invest in multifamily real estate.

    Listen in as they discuss:

    • Multifamily real estate investing
    • Syndication
    • How multifamily works
    • General partners and limited partners

We have a choice we can either have fear or have faith and it's the story we have to tell ourselves which one of these two things are we going to believe. ~ Agostino Pintos

Agostino also shares some of the worst advice he has seen and heard given in real multifamily and gives some brilliant ones on how to operate in multifamily real estate.

    TIP OF THE WEEK

Mark: My tip of the week is learn more about Agostino Pintus in Multi-Family Investing just go to bulletproofcashflow.com and check out his books.

Scott: If talking to people is a problem, I would recommend to check out this book, it's How To Talk To Anyone 92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships.

Is Success Better Guaranteed When You Focus On One Area Instead Of Multiple? Sep 01, 2020
    Show notes

    Joining Mark this week are:

    • Erik Peterson
    • Mike Zaino
    • Scott Bossman
    • Mimi Schmidt
    • Tate Litchfield
    • Scott Todd

Listen in as they go around the table and discuss the benefits and possibilities of focusing on one county versus operating in multiple counties at the same time. They also share with us how they became successful with their approach to buying properties when they got started in the land business.

    TIP OF THE WEEK

Tate: One of my main tools that I use to communicating with the VA Team is a software called Slack, and what I dislike about slack is I can't set recurring reminders, so my tip of the week is Workast. It's a Slack plug-in, it's free and you can set a recurring daily/weekly/monthly/yearly task and send over to your VA Team. It's super easy and what I like about it is once your team gets things done you'll get a notification.

Scott: People fear they'll run into a problem with their business, it's not a business problem, but it's in the brain like a mental disconnect -we're scared. There are many different ways you can attack this, try this for a week or two to solve this problem, grab a spiral notebook or just 3 pieces of paper and every day start writing everything that comes to your mind. Write everything until you've filled the 2-3 pages and put it inside an envelope, don't read it and don't think about it just put it away and what you'll find in doing so is that all of those fears, all of those emotions, everything evaporates on that piece of paper. Don't stop your pen from writing even if you don't have anything to say, just keep writing. You'll find that all of those fears disappear and all of a sudden your brain is clear. You'll start to have a vision on how to grow your business or whatever it is that you want.

Hotel Real Estate Investment – A Successful Journey To Financial Freedom Aug 27, 2020
    Show notes

Nichole’s journey to financial freedom started after a weekend trip to Barnes & Nable, one of her favorite way to unwind with her husband Mike on the weekends. During that trip, she stumbled across a copy of Robert Kiyosaki’s book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” something that would change their lives forever.

The book outlined a very important financial concept for the couple. It was just what they needed to take action to control their future. They immediately signed up for a real estate seminar and right after they jumped right into purchasing three investment properties using their credit card advances to fund their down payments.

However, after three months of owning and managing their new properties, they had to give them back after falling deeply into debts as a result of lacking skills and knowledge on how real estate works. Nichole and Mike were determined to take another shot at real estate investment and so they equipped themselves with the knowledge and experience they needed to run a successful real estate business, manage risk, and conservatively assess properties and opportunities.

    Listen in as they discuss:

    • The hotel real estate niche
    • Branded flag franchised hotels
    • The process of buying a hotel
    • The numbers of real estate investing from a cap rate perspective
    • Revenue per available room (RevPAR)

Nichole also shares details on how she manages and operates her business to create passive cash flow.

    TIP OF THE WEEK

Mark: My tip of the week is learn more about Nichole Stohler and her geeky empire at therichergeek.com.

Scott: Check out Aida Form (aidaform.com); they offer free services, it's free, they build online forms and bet them into websites, it immigrates to mailchamp to build your buyer's list.

Nichole: My tip is a book called Built to Sell, if you want to grow a successful business that is bigger, you have to be in this mindset that you're working on the business with strategies not in the business.
