    Luggage Jan 04, 2023
    Show notes

    A few weeks ago I decided to declutter a big purple suitcase that was over 20 years old, we just didn't need it anymore, we travel pretty light and have found that for any holiday we've been on in the last 15 years we've been fine with one large suitcase and everyone just having one carry on piece of luggage (if we're flying).

    Today be challenged to gather all your luggage in one place and do a true assessment of what you do and don't need. Op shops and charity donation businesses will happily take your luggage that still works so no use you keeping it stashed away in a cupboard or under the stairs taking up precious real estate.

    Bikes & Scooters Jan 02, 2023
    Show notes

    Today be challenged and inspired to declutter any unused bikes and scooters that you or your kids have lying around. Instead of having excess sitting around - have the ones you do want to use easy to access and remove the barrier to going for a bike ride.

    Also, think about where you keep helmets, locks, spare tubes, lights and other accessories so that when something needs fixing or you decide to go for a ride, you can quickly repair or grab what you need.

    Show notes

    This week we chat all about the most common word we hear from people we work with: Overwhelm. We all feel it at times so we give you some suggestions and strategies on how you can reduce this feeling when it comes to dealing with clutter in your home. We give tips like start small, KISS, make sure you are fed and hydrated, the Power of 15 minutes and the Micro Declutter. We also chat about how sometimes something else going on that is causing the overwhelm and you are feeling stuck because of that issue. So we suggest sitting with those feelings and by working out what is really going on, it will help you be able to deal with the clutter over the long term. As always we hope you have a giggle with us and enjoy the conversation!

    Top Episodes - Minimalism Nov 27, 2022
    Show notes

    Minimalism is something we talk about ALL the time but until now had not dedicated an entire episode to. Minimalism has and always will be a huge part of our lives and one of our favourite things to share about – clearly as we go on about it a lot! Both of us identify as minimalists, but we have decided that ‘intentionalism’ (did we just make up a new word?!) really is a better word to describe this type of lifestyle. There is so much gold in this episode so sit back relax and take it all in!

    In this episode we:

    ● Discuss what minimalism is and what does it really look like;

    ● Share our own journeys into minimalism;

    ● Highlight what minimalism isn’t;

    ● Discover that minimalism is really about freedom;

    ● Challenge you to be intentional about what comes into your home and what goes out;

    ● Remind you that minimalism is more than just about having less stuff;

    Today, be inspired to create a do to list that works FOR you!

    To do lists...Do you love them or do you hate them?!

    We cover all the things today, how they can be helpful, do you even need them and most importantly how to declutter them!

    Come join us for some laughs and giggles as we suggest swapping your to do list for a 'ta-da list' (thanks to Lauren from our community for that idea a few years ago) and help you uncover that maybe what you want out of life is to do less.

    Big shout out to Rachel Hickingbotham for suggesting this topic!

    In this episode we:

    ● Share what we call our to do lists;

    ● Offer suggestions on how to declutter your to do lists;

    ● Emphasise you don't HAVE to have a do to list!;

    ● Highlight why to do lists can be helpful;

    We hope from this conversation we all learn something and put a smile on your face!
