    The Art of Charm

Explore social skills like charisma, confidence, body language and conversation. On The Art of Charm, co-founders AJ Harbinger and Johnny Dzubak break down the science of human behavior into practical skills, from owning a room and reading people to making a first impression and building real connection. Short Social Intelligence Briefings focus on one skill in about 15 minutes, and long-form interviews go deep with experts such as Joe Navarro, Chris Voss and Vanessa Van Edwards on body language, persuasion, influence and relationships. The Art of Charm has been on the air since 2007.

255: Susan Winter | Is she crazy or is this normal? Apr 30, 2014
    Show notes

“Here's all you have to know about men and women: women are crazy, men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid.” -George Carlin
Men are apt to say that "women are crazy." And while some women are truly off kilter, many of the reactions men experience in women's emotions have a valid underlying reason. So what's truly crazy? How can you tell if the girl you're dating is a head trip, or just expressing her emotions? How much of that is your responsibility and caused by your actions? And what situations are you being "made wrong" for that have no validity? Relationship Management expert Susan Winter to the rescue.
Today, we're talking about some biggies, such as:
-How to decide on and screen in the girl you want for a relationship
-How to answer the “what are we?” question
-How to set up personal boundaries within a relationship How to handle conflict within a relationship
-How to handle bumps in a relationship after the first few months What to do when you feel your partner is pulling away Handling insane relatives ...and more!

206: Justin Jensen | Top Excuses for Not Coming to AoC Apr 24, 2014
    Show notes

Since the foundation of The Art of Charm, thousands of students have come through our doors, graduated and left as the type of man they've always wanted to be. Unfortunately, thousands more have made an excuse NOT to take action. Perhaps you're one of them. In this episode, Jordan Harbinger and Justin Jensen explore (and then debunk) some of the most common excuses that guys have for why they can't change their lives, from time ("I'm just soooo busy!") to money ("There's just no way I can afford it, I've got bills to pay!") to why it couldn't possibly work for them ("But I'm too short/tall/black/white/asian/disabled") to the even more ridiculous. Have a listen. You might hear something that sounds familiar... You’ll also like: The Art of Charm Toolbox Best of The Art of Charm Podcast HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!
