Daily Virus #22 | Governor McDreamy Or Governor McFascist? May 01, 2020

The Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, was once seen as a dreamy establishment liberal politician. But now Governor McDreamy is taking a hard turn to Governor McFascist. Newsom upset millions of Americans across the state when a leaked memo said he would close beaches and parks across the state. In yesterday's press conference, he was forced to recant his order and close the beaches in just Orange County -- arguably one of the most conservative counties in the state! Now he's being sued by several of the beach towns.

Also on today's episode we revisit Neil Ferguson . . . the man's whose models disrupted the world and likely crashed the global economy. We have some new news from him you're not going to like.

Today we also talk about what the international headlines are saying about the United States. Media in other countries are misleading their citizens to create the appearance that the United States in in complete chaos over the virus. They're manipulating statistics and giving the appearance that America is the new ground zero for the virus. That's a lie. That's China!

Lastly, we examine the new video from Project Veritas that likely shows that states are seriously padding virus death statistics.

Daily Virus #21 | Cuomo's Huge Mistake Apr 30, 2020

Tomorrow is May! Finally! It's been a long month, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. On today's episode we discuss Governor Cuomo's massive mistake in not closing New York City's metro. According to his statements yesterday . . . he's starting to admit that "public transportation" could have a huge role in spreading the virus. Duh!

His administration announced yesterday that they will finally be sanitizing the metro every day -- leaving many New Yorkers to wonder -- what was happening before?!

While the rest of the country (and the world) is beginning to open up, Governor Gavin Newsom has decided crack down on his citizens even more. States like New York and countries like Italy are beginning their reopening plans while Newsom stalls. Last night, a source in the police community leaked a press release that appears to show Gavin Newsom will ban all state beach and park access. His power struggle continues . . .

On today's episode of the Scoop we have a very special guest! Toby Young joins us all the way from across the pond! Toby is the General Secretary of the Free Speech Union and he also runs a fantastic website called LockdownSkeptics.org. He also is an incredibly talented British political commentator and he is the former head of the New Schools Network.

We discuss with Toby the history of the lockdowns and how we went from needing to "flatten the curve" to having to demolish the virus in its entirety. We also look at how lockdowns like this set a very dark and scary precedent for the future. We discuss Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his battle with the virus as well as public perception and response to the lockdown.

Daily Virus #20 | Is Capitalism Doomed During The Lockdowns? Apr 28, 2020

It seems like everyone is out for capitalism in today's troubling times. On today's podcast we begin with a story from the New York Times that shows their continued efforts to try and put a stop to the reopening of our economy. It seems like the mainstream media does not want our country to reopen anytime soon. And why is that? Most likely it's because the longer we wait to reopen, the harder it will be for our politicians to stop the creeping socialism that is entering our lives throughout the pandemic.

In another attempt to thwart capitalism, Los Angeles is debating the food delivery service fee that allows apps like Postmates, Doordash, and UberEats to provide us with food from local restaurants. These services have been a lifesaver for many families during the COVID-19 crisis and now Los Angeles is moving in to put those services at risk.

We also discuss a story in Panama where a group of woke folks from the U.K. are stranded after attending a festival called The Tribal Gathering.

Also on today's episode we discuss Cuomo's pandemic regrets, the changing video streaming industry, and the return of the Obama's.

Daily Virus #19 | Fish Tank Cleaner Death Is MUCH More Complicated Than Anyone Thought Apr 27, 2020

We hope you had a great weekend. In today's episode we talk about more failures of the New York Times. As their virus coverage continues, we continue to see how the Times is much more concerned with slamming Trump than they are with doing real journalism. We examine a few articles from over the weekend that show their growing bias and their sympathies with the CCP.

You may recall that at the beginning of the pandemic, two major ships were brought to New York and Los Angeles to help ease the burden on city hospitals. It turns out . . . we really didn't need those ships after all.

Over the weekend we also learned about the growing insecurities in our food supply system. Farmers across the country are dumping crops they are unable to sell/use/distribute and animal farmers are doing the same. The country needs to open as soon as possible or this problem will grow much worse.

Also on today's episode we discuss a very good piece of reporting from the Washington Free Beacon about the man who died ingesting fish tank cleaner. You may recall that the mainstream media tried to blame this man's death on President Trump. It turns out, he had a very troubled marriage and this story is far more complicated than what mainstream outlets like CNN have been reporting. In fact, this story really belongs on Dateline!!

Lastly, we take a look at the COVID-19 numbers across the country and the disastrous stories of inflated numbers that are making it very hard for people to separate fact from fiction. Silver lining . . . it looks like this is ending . . . very soon!

Daily Virus #18 | Democrat Lawmaker Who Thanked Trump Could Get Censured! Apr 24, 2020

As the virus coverage continues, it's becoming more clear that the response to the Wuhan Virus is largely political. Earlier this month a Michigan lawmaker thanked President Trump for publicizing the benefits of hydroxychloroquine after it saved her life during her battle with the Wuhan Virus. Now her party is moving to censure her and is threatening to withhold their endorsement. Hydroxychloroquine may not be the magic bullet - but it's saved lives and now the left in Michigan is trying to silence Representative Whitsett for sharing her truth with others.

Also on today's episode we talk about the downfall of the Paycheck Protection Program which has been largely successful with providing small business owners with the needed funds to keep their employees on payroll. Some small business owners who have received funding from the PPP are getting animosity from their employees who are making more on unemployment than they were at their jobs.

We talk about Adam Carolla's notable story of how he dealt with his mother's dependency on welfare. It's not an easy mindset to overcome.

Lastly, we examine the New York Times' latest failure and what it really means to be a "Republican source" or a "source with ties to the President."

Daily Virus #17 | Open The Economy! Apr 23, 2020

In today's episode we cover the skyrocketing unemployment numbers that have left millions of Americans out of work. Will we bounce back? We are optimists so we hope so!

It's time to reopen the economy. This has gone on long enough. Certainly metropolitan areas like New York City will need to open slower than the rest of us - but the majority of the country is not seeing the massive case numbers, death tolls, or hospitalizations we were told we would see. Is that because the models were inaccurate to begin with or is it due to social distancing?

Most likely it's both. We discuss the history of Neil Ferguson - the man who contrived the 2.2 million death toll that pushed President Trump and others to lockdown their states and countries. Turns out - Ferguson has a history of creating jaw-dropping models that are wildly inaccurate. We discuss why you cannot trust his science and why America MUST reopen.

Also on today's episode we discuss Harvard's walk of shame! Harvard has announced they will be returning federal funding after accepting major funding from the federal government during this crisis.

Lastly, we talk about Los Angeles' latest crusade against landlords and one city councilor's desire to buy out struggling property owners in order to house the homeless.

On this episode, we’re joined by not one but TWO exciting guests - Mollie Hemingway and Marc Morano!

We are so excited to have our dear friend Mollie Hemingway on the podcast again this week. Mollie is a senior editor at The Federalist and a wonderful journalist. As many of you know, she is the inspiration for the blogger character in our movie Gosnell! From her own “home studio,” Mollie joins us to discuss the latest updates in pandemic news and the latest draconian actions from around the country. We also discuss the recent sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden and yet another example of media double standards. Mollie’s book Justice on Trial is the definitive take on the Bret Kavanaugh hearings, so if anyone is an expert on media malpractice, it’s her.

Our second guest is Marc Morano of ClimateDepot.com. Marc is another good friend of ours and is perhaps best known for writing the great book The Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change. With Marc, we look at the similarities between how some politicians are responding to the pandemic and how they respond to climate change. We also flash back to Phelim’s epic confrontation of Al Gore a few years ago. Marc discusses why climate change models always fail and some possible “silver linings” from the coronavirus panic. Finally, Marc reveals his favorite thing to make for his children at home.

Daily Virus #16 | Close EVERYTHING . . . Except Immigration Apr 21, 2020

Last night's Monday night news dump left the left very very angry as Trump announced that America will halt immigration as we battle the coronavirus. The "close everything" crowd is of course up in arms, calling the move "racist." It's truly remarkable how the mainstream media and activist left are able to hold such double standards.

Yesterday Los Angeles came out with some incredible news that the virus most likely has a lower death rate than anticipated. A recent study leads the county to believe that the death rate could be closer to 0.1% or 0.2% according to county officials. Of course, the LA Times took this opportunity to push scare tactics and bury the lede on the story.

Oil prices have hit an all time low and yesterday prices plummeted to the negatives. We explain what that means and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez' incredibly insensitive tweet about the disaster.

Also in today's episode we discuss Earth Day (which is tomorrow) and the American media's neglect of whistleblowers in China who warned us about the dangers of the coronavirus. The communist regime in China has sought to silence anyone critical of the CCP's handling of the matter. We will be keeping you update on these brave individuals in future episodes.

Daily Virus #15 | The New York Times Was Caught LYING Again! Apr 20, 2020

This weekend thousands of Americans across the country protested their state, county, and city lockdown laws. Several notable cities along the California coast held protests including San Clemente and San Diego. More and more people are starting to protest the draconian laws like the ones Michigan.

This weekend we took a stroll alongside Venice Beach in California and the police were out in full force. Whereas Florida is slowly opening up their beaches, California appears to be doubling down.

Also on today's episode we examine the death per million toll throughout the globe. The mainstream media wants you to believe that America has the highest death toll to population ratio in the world. That's simply not true. In fact, there are several "developed" countries ahead of us.

Today we also examine the New York Time's latest flop. They published a story over the weekend that accused Sean Hannity of indirectly killing a Brooklyn man for his coverage of the coronavirus. Turns out the story was completely FALSE. Did the NYT apologize to Fox News? Of course not.

Lastly we examine a very famous university in Ireland who has been taking significant funding from China. Their academic integrity is suffering.
