Show notes
Adam Mares and Jason Timpf break down the biggest NBA games and storylines from around the league, starting with the Oklahoma City Thunder taking down the Houston Rockets and what OKC’s closing lineup is, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dealing with blitzes, Jalen Williams’ lingering injury, and the Thunder’s underrated contributors. They examine Houston’s growing issues, including a lack of connection and toughness, and why the Rockets look like a team that could crack in the playoffs. The episode also covers the Celtics’ comeback win over the Heat, the Warriors beating the Knicks, the Pistons grinding out a win, the Lakers’ loss to the Hornets, and why LeBron James and Luka Dončić continue to look dominant. The show wraps with a deep dive into NBA history, drafting and ranking the best NBA draft classes of the last 25 years.
