Why You Need Your Own Affiliates May 25, 2017

Show notes

I still remember the first time I heard the term "affiliate." I'd just started working with a friend at a startup. We had virtually no money and what little we had we'd just blown on banner ads (this was 2005). The idea of affiliates was mesmerizing.

Now over the next few episodes, we're going to cover how to find the right affiliates for YOUR product or service.

Right now, go to http://www.mattmcwilliams.com/first100 (anyway you spell it it works) and download my free report, Your First 100 Affiliates. This is the basis for the next few episodes so you'll want to grab it now and we'll go through it together. You can also TEXT 1ST100 to 33444 to get it now.

The Advantage of Being Small May 22, 2017

Show notes

In the last episode I shared why you should start NOW with affiliate marketing.

In fact, if possible, start the moment you launch your blog/podcast/platform. You start out small and that has huge advantages.

Many people think that being new, small, or unknown is a disadvantage when promoting affiliate offers.

But, there are three incredible advantages to being small and getting an early start on affiliate promotions.

The First Rule of Affiliate Marketing May 20, 2017

Show notes

I'm often asked by people new to the affiliate marketing game: How do I promote with confidence when I'm not 100% sure about the product? Well, that question is fundamentally flawed. If you aren't 100% sure about the product, don't promote it. That's the first rule of affiliate marketing.

One great way to help decide what products are right for you to promote is to use our Affiliate Program Scorecard. This scorecard walks you through 10 questions to ask before you commit to promoting something. It helps you score the product and decide if it's right for you and your audience.

You can get it plus a free video training at mattmcwilliams.com/scorecard

Or by texting TAGSCORE to 33444
