And that’s only the start of the madness from this week! Senator Ted Cruz joins Michael Knowles to break it all down—from a mind-boggling objection to common-sense legislation to a (very controversial) upcoming vote and the telling details behind the end of a new journalism bill.

Republicans lost a seat in the House last week as Sarah Palin was defeated by a Democrat. But this wasn’t for a lack of voters choosing to elect Palin, rather it was a result of Alaska’s anti-democratic jungle primaries and ranked-choice voting. Senator Cruz joins Liz on The Cloakroom to share his top-down analysis of this election system and examine how it came to be in the first place. Plus, what are the chances the new assault rifle ban passes the Senate?

Crapping In America's Coffee Sep 03, 2022

Show notes

The Semi-Fascist Social Club convenes to break down Biden's new anti-MAGA strategy, unveiled this week. And what a week it has been. Karine Jean-Pierre calls Americans who don't agree with Biden's lawless power grabs and feckless leadership "threats to democracy." The White House outright lies about what is happening on our southern border. Radical "doctors" get caught admitting to performing graphic transgender mutilations on shockingly young children. Biden's woke Pentagon plants continue their bid to destroy America's fighting forces. All this, and Bernie Sanders now features our very show in his campaign videos. So how do we stop the destruction of our country, our freedom, and everything we hold dear?

The White House moves to rain cash down on slackers at the expense of hardworking Americans in what might be one of the largest transfers of wealth from the poor to the rich in American history. Senator Ted Cruz joins Michael Knowles to discuss the scary reality of Biden's $300 billion plan to “cancel” student loan debt. And because we apparently give money anybody and everybody now, “I surrender” Joe is also on a mission to revive Obama’s plan to give nukes to Iran—talk about a disaster waiting to happen. Plus, does defeated Congresswoman Liz Cheney have a vendetta against our very own Senator?

Fishing and Fednapping and Fabrication, Oh My! Aug 17, 2022

Show notes

And you thought it couldn’t get any worse. In a grim followup to last week’s exposé on the corruption at Biden’s DOJ that led to the FBI raid on President Trump’s home, Senator Ted Cruz joins Michael Knowles to share what we now know about the motives, facts, and lies that surround this unprecedented abuse of power by the Feds. And are we really surprised? This on the heels of federal agents entrapping citizens in a plot to kidnap and murder Gretchen Whitmer, and new questions about the FBI’s role in January 6th and the purported pipe bombs in D.C. Plus, “former Republican” Michael Steele grovels for pennies at the woke alters of MSNBC and Knowles responds to The Atlantic’s claim that praying the Rosary is “extremist."

The Department of Injustice Aug 12, 2022

Show notes

Merrick Garland "will not stand" for attacks on the integrity of Biden’s DOJ and FBI! But just one question—what the heck happened to the rule of law? As the Attorney General turns the FBI into his personal political tool and raids Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, Senator Ted Cruz joins Michael Knowles to break down the consequences of this completely unprecedented move, including what it means for 2024, and expose the utter double-standard the Left is operating under. And speaking of weaponizing the federal government, Dems vote to double (yes, DOUBLE) the size of the IRS… to process our tax returns faster? Certainly not. The Biden Administration is out for blood, and this is simply their next move.

The Cloakroom Preview: What if China Invades Taiwan? Aug 05, 2022

Show notes

The White House completely botches Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan, increasing tensions with China and possibly setting up an all-out war. Senator Ted Cruz joins Liz Wheeler on The Cloakroom to contemplate the chances of China invading Taiwan, explain the enormous impacts that would have on the world, and consider how America could respond. Plus, back in the United States Senate, the Senator sends Jon Stewart (and all of Twitter) on a dishonest tirade over funding for a burn pit bill, and everyone watches for Kyrsten Sinema’s next move on the Inflation Reduction Act.

What is the light at the end of the tunnel… if there is one?

Defining A Recession Jul 27, 2022

Show notes

It’s a familiar scene. The Left tries to define us out of reality. This time, it’s out of a full-blown recession. Senator Ted Cruz joins Michael Knowles from YAF’s National Conservative Student Conference to give a hard-line response to the White House and examine the motive behind their latest propaganda. Plus, as the consequences of illegal immigration spread across America, blue-city Democrats reek of hypocrisy.
