Tell Me I’m a Good Mom with Lo Bosworth Natale

Lo Bosworth Natale spent years studying what women’s bodies actually need as the the founder and CEO of Love Wellness, a women’s health brand sold at Target, Ulta, Walmart, and CVS. Then she got pregnant and realized she didn’t know anything about this next part.

Tell Me I’m a Good Mom is not a parenting podcast. It’s what happens when the woman who built the wellness brand becomes the case study, and she’s figuring it out in public, one episode at a time. Identity shifts, medical honesty, postpartum moments that don’t make the grid, and the conversations women are having in private but not out loud.

New episodes every Wednesday. Come back weekly, it’s still unfolding.

Tell Me I’m a Good Mom is part of the Dear Media podcast network.

How to Feed Your Baby Without Losing Your Mind ft. Chef Sophia Roe Oct 21, 2026
    Show notes

This week, I’m joined by my friend, chef and fellow mom Sophia Roe, because feeding your baby somehow comes with more homework than feeding yourself ever did.

What do you actually make? Does everything need to be homemade? And what happens when you’re a professional chef and your baby has absolutely no interest in what you’re serving?

I’m asking as a new mom who wants to feed her baby well without turning every meal into a performance review.

We get into making food for a tiny person with opinions, the pressure to get it all right, and which parts of feeding our kids we’re making harder than they need to be. Plus, feeding yourself when you’ve spent the entire day thinking about what someone else needs to eat.

We also make room for Sophia’s experience of pregnancy and postpartum as a Black woman, and what it means to feel heard when you’re the one who needs care.

And in Good Mom, Bad Decision?, we get into store-bought shortcuts, dinner that doesn’t look like Instagram, and taking your baby’s review of your cooking a little personally.

    —

    Topics include:

    - What a chef actually feeds her baby

    - Homemade food and store-bought shortcuts

    - Introducing new foods without making every bite a big event

    - When your baby rejects what you made

    - The pressure to be a “good” food mom

    - Feeding yourself, too

    - Sophia’s maternal health experience

    - Making mealtime feel manageable

    - Your baby does not know you saved that recipe on Pinterest.

Are All Moms Actually Witches? ft. Tiffani Thiessen Oct 14, 2026
    Show notes

This week, I’m joined by Tiffani Thiessen for a conversation about mom intuition, raising teenagers, and a question I’ve been wanting to ask: are all moms actually witches?

With her new show, Coven Academy, as our starting point, we get into the things moms notice before anyone says a word. That change in your kid’s voice. The “I’m fine” that doesn’t sound fine. The feeling that something’s going on before you know what it is.

But trusting your instincts gets more complicated when your kids have opinions—and instincts—of their own. We talk about knowing when to step in, when to listen, and when your own worry might be filling in the blanks.

Tiffani grew up on television, and now she’s raising a daughter around the age she was playing Kelly Kapowski. We get into what she wants her kids to feel comfortable saying no to, how we talk about our bodies around them, and making room for yourself as they become more independent.

And, of course, we bring a few decisions to the group chat: is a bad feeling enough to cancel a sleepover? Does mom intuition justify reading your teenager’s messages? Loving your kids is the easy part. Figuring out where to draw the line is a little more complicated.

If you’ve ever known something was up with your kid and couldn’t quite explain how, this one’s for you. Because sometimes “Mom just knows” is real—and sometimes we need to let our kids tell us.

    —

    Topics include:

    - Mom intuition—and when worry gets mixed in

    - Witchy interests and *Coven Academy*

    - Raising a teenager after growing up in the spotlight

    - Teaching your kids to trust themselves

    - Body image and what our kids hear us say

    - Making more room for yourself

    - The line between protecting your kids and respecting their privacy

    What It's Like Being a 40 Year Old First-Time Mom Oct 07, 2026
    Show notes

This week, it’s just me—and we have a lot to catch up on. I just turned 40, Love Wellness is turning 10, and I’ve been a mom for almost a year. So I wanted to make a little time capsule of how I got here, what I’m proud of, and what I’m still figuring out.

We’re going back to Laguna Beach: getting cast at 15, filming with my actual friends, and, yes, the Jetta. Then I get into balancing UCLA with The Hills, why those two shows felt so different to be part of, and moving to New York when I was ready to start over.

I also look back at the early days of Love Wellness, including my decision to host the launch in my apartment and what it felt like to be called “the vagina lady.” Women were emailing me because they were relieved someone was talking openly about their experiences. Other people were laughing. Ten years later, I understand those reactions differently.

But becoming a mother brought me to something I wasn’t expecting. After spending a decade encouraging women to talk about their bodies and ask for help, it took me months to acknowledge my own postpartum depression. I talk about that disconnect, what it meant to hear that I wasn’t failing, and how this year has changed the way I understand my work.

And there’s the life I have now: my daughter, my husband, a company I still believe in, and a bedtime that would probably disappoint my younger self.

If you’re approaching a milestone, starting over, or finding that a life you love can still be really hard sometimes, this one’s for you.

    —

    Topics include:

    - Getting cast on Laguna Beach at 15

    - UCLA, The Hills, and growing up on television

    - Moving to New York and figuring out what came next

    - Building Love Wellness and being called “the vagina lady”

    - Ten years of talking openly about women’s health

    - Motherhood, postpartum depression, and asking for help

    - Turning 40 without having everything figured out

    - I’ve spent ten years telling women they deserve to be heard. This year, I needed help hearing it myself.

The Mom Guilt Never Ends (Even After Four Kids) with Sarah Wright Olsen Sep 30, 2026
    Show notes

Does having four kids make you feel like you finally know what you’re doing? According to Sarah Wright Olsen: absolutely not. Sarah is an actress, author, co-host of The Mother Daze podcast, and mom of four. I’m still in my first year of motherhood, so I had questions. We talk about the postpartum anxiety she didn’t recognize with her first baby, why the child who made her feel like an amazing parent turned out to be naturally chill, and what changes when baby number two arrives. I also tell her about sobbing on my first trip away from Nelle—which leads us to her new children’s book, When I Am Not With You, and a little reminder I think parents need just as much as kids do.

    —

    In this episode:

    - Why the same parenting approach doesn’t work for every child

    - Recognizing postpartum anxiety and intrusive thoughts

    - The fear that a second baby will change your bond with your first

    - Mom guilt around travel, work, and leaving your child

    - Sarah’s honest experience of postpartum recovery after four babies

    - What new moms can stop worrying about (including the wipes warmer)

    - A quick-fire round of “Am I a good mom if…?”

The CMPA (Cow Milk Protein Allergy) Episode with Dr. Milobsky, MD Sep 23, 2026
    Show notes

Who teaches us what to do when we know something is wrong with our baby, but we don’t know what? When Nelle was struggling, figuring out that she had cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA)—and then finding the formula that finally gave her relief—felt like jumping through hoop after hoop while questioning myself the entire time. In this episode, I sit down with pediatrician Dr. Michael Milobsky to talk about CMPA, how it can look like colic, the formula options available, and how parents can advocate for answers when their baby is uncomfortable. We also talk about our own experience with Nelle, why Neocate ultimately worked for her, and what I wish I’d known when we were in the thick of it.

    —

    In this episode:

    - The difference between colic and cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA)

    - Signs and symptoms worth discussing with your pediatrician

    - How to talk to your doctor if you suspect CMPA

    - The benefits of extensively hydrolyzed (eHF) and amino acid-based formulas

    - The difference between Pepticate and Neocate formulas

    - How our family ultimately found the right formula for Nelle

    —

This episode is in partnership with Nutricia, makers of Pepticate and Neocate.

REPLAY: Teen Mom Meets Laguna Beach Sep 21, 2026
    Show notes

In this rerun episode: I have one baby. Kailyn Lowry has seven. So obviously the first thing I asked her was how the f*ck her body has done that.

I've been a Kailyn girly since the original Teen Mom days, so sitting across from her felt like a full circle moment from my own MTV era. Bonus: within thirty seconds we'd figured out she was a Laguna girly too. Match made in heaven.

Kailyn has been a person in public since she was 17. Most of the women she came up with on MTV aren't here anymore. Kailyn is. She has millions of followers online, has built three podcasts, a podcast network, a book club, a publishing imprint, and a physical sports business in Delaware while raising seven kids with five different men. She also lives next door to one of her exes. They share a driveway. He can see into her kitchen window. Yes I asked her what that's like.

We get into the baby daddy speed round (one word per ex, you're welcome), how she found out about the cheating on TikTok and turned the whole thing into a three-part Patreon special because everybody else was profiting off her pain so why wouldn't she, the c-section shelf, the beads she bought at Hobby Lobby because of her ADHD, and why she has to apply a full year in advance to move out of Delaware.

Kailyn is one of the sharpest business minds I've sat across from. She also might be a little unhinged in the best possible way. Buckle up for a fantastic convo.

Are We Overthinking Parenting? Dr. Shefali on Raising Conscious Kids Sep 16, 2026
    Show notes

We’re told to validate every feeling, regulate our nervous systems, avoid trauma, limit screens, and somehow raise independent, resilient humans. So… have we made parenting way too complicated? This week, I’m sitting down with clinical psychologist, bestselling author, and conscious parenting expert Dr. Shefali to talk about why being a “good mom” has a lot less to do with perfect parenting than we think.

We get into conscious vs. gentle parenting, how our own childhood wounds show up in our kids, and why trying to get everything right might actually get in their way. Plus, we talk about the “manosphere,” smartphones and social media, the mental load between moms and dads, postpartum pressure, and why sometimes the best thing we can do as parents is simply calm down and trust ourselves.

    —

    In this episode:

    - Conscious parenting vs. gentle parenting

    - How childhood wounds affect parenting

    - Regulating yourself before your child

    - The rise of the “manosphere”

    - How we raise boys vs. girls

    - Postpartum pressure and asking for help

    - Why good moms can have struggling kids

    Tell Me I’m a Good… Dad Episode Sep 09, 2026
    Show notes

We talk a lot about what happens to women when they become mothers-but what happens to men when they become dads? This week, I’m sitting down with dad of four, attorney, entrepreneur, and Come Together podcast host Abe Lichy for a conversation about the side of parenthood we don’t hear nearly enough about: what dads are actually going through.

We talk about the pressure men feel to provide, protect, and quietly fix everything, why keeping that stress from your partner can actually create more distance in a marriage, and the surprisingly simple ways we can make each other feel seen after having kids. Plus, we get into raising children in a world of iPhones, Roblox, social media, and AI, why Abe wants his kids to have as much of an analog childhood as possible, and what reality TV has taught both of us about identity, attention, and knowing who you are outside of the version people see on screen.

    —

    In this episode:

-Why dads often hide their stress instead of talking about it

-How trying to “protect” your partner can create resentment in a marriage

-The pressure men feel to provide, protect, and hold everything together

-Why acknowledging your partner can make a bigger difference than you think

-Raising kids without smartphones and social media

-Why Abe refuses to give his 11-year-old an iPhone

-The problem with Roblox and the endless-loop economy of kids’ technology

-Giving kids an “analog” childhood in an increasingly digital world

-Reality TV, identity, and the danger of becoming addicted to attention

-What Abe hopes his four kids will someday say about him as a dad

8 Months Postpartum: An Honest Check-In (Solo Episode) Sep 02, 2026
    Show notes

Seven months postpartum, and I’m finally starting to feel a little more like myself- but motherhood has a funny way of making every step back toward yourself feel complicated. In this solo episode, I’m sharing an honest update on where I am now: taking my first girls’ trip without my daughter, navigating the guilt of going back to work, rebuilding my strength after pregnancy and a C-section, and realizing just how long “postpartum” can actually last.

We talk about the pressure to be everything at once, why taking care of yourself can feel strangely selfish after becoming a mom, and the village that’s made it possible for me to find a rhythm that finally feels sustainable. Plus, an update on Nell, what we’ve learned about her CMPA, and a few of the baby products we’re loving right now.

    —

    In this episode:

    - The anxiety and guilt around leaving your baby for the first time

    - Going back to work and missing the moments you’re not there for

    - Rebuilding strength after pregnancy and a C-section

    - Why I regret not exercising more during pregnancy

    - Pelvic floor health and the things women should be taught much earlier

    - Why postpartum can still feel very real seven months later

    - Building a village, asking for help, and finding a sustainable rhythm

    - An update on Nelle, CMPA, solids, sleep, and our current baby favorites

Hiring Moms is Actually a Really Good Idea ft. Caissie Levy Aug 26, 2026
    Show notes

Caissie Levy won a Tony Award this year after more than two decades on Broadway. The speech went viral — not because of who she thanked, but because of who she didn't forget. The babysitters. The young women who traveled with her, lived with her family, and loved her kids when she couldn't be there. It was the most honest thing said on that stage all night.

In this episode, Caissie gets real about what it takes to build a life on Broadway while raising two kids — the schedule that keeps you from bedtime six nights a week, the moment she walked away from a new show because her son needed her, and why becoming a mom made her better at her job, not worse.

    —

    In this episode:

    - Why Caissie thanked the babysitters at the Tonys — and what they actually meant to her career

    - The Broadway schedule nobody talks about and what it costs you as a mom

    - The moment she chose her son over a new show — and what happened next

    - How motherhood made her braver, not more cautious, in her career

    - Why the heartbreak and the joy of being a working mom always seem to show up at the same time
