    Freedom in a Screen Saturated World | 122 May 05, 2022
    Show notes

On today’s episode, Douglas Smith will be joining us to discuss how to intentionally lead our families to freedom and purpose in a screen saturated world. There isn’t a family alive that doesn’t need to hear what Douglas has to say and the strategies he offers. Each one of us is bombarded strategically with messaging that is designed to lead us away from the direction God has designed us to go, but there is so much hope to be found. Today’s episode is brought to you by Trail Life USA. Trail Life is where boys and men thrive! With more than 40,000 members in nearly 900 Troops across all 50 states, homeschool moms and dads are discovering the power of outdoor adventure and badge-based education to engage boys, nurture faith, and awaken a love for learning. Unshackled from the classroom, boys and dads come to life in an environment where faith and understanding grow naturally. Men love the intentional discipleship time carved out with their sons, as together they plan, work, serve, learn, and experience adventure together -- relationships grow, faith becomes real, leadership is learned, and boys grow to become biblically-bold, courageous servant-leaders of faith and character. You’re Not Meant to Be Alone | 121 May 03, 2022
    Show notes

Today, we wanted to talk about the fact that not one of us was created to go it alone. Throughout God’s Word we see that God has created mankind to live in community with others– God created families, people groups, and the church to fill that void, yet far too many families we talk to feel so isolated. I’ll be honest with you. As a natural introvert, community is not something I ever thought I needed or craved– that is until God got a hold of my heart and changed my appetite completely. I am a huge proponent of our need for one another, specifically as families on mission, so I look forward to diving right in soon. This is the week of our big event in Pigeon Forge, and it’s all hands on deck to get every detail taken care of before we head out tomorrow to join thousands of homeschoolers there. We’re so excited to see many of you there, so be sure you introduce yourself if we haven’t met you yet. If you’re still on the fence about joining us… get off that fence! Make your plans to join us in person or via the Live stream, so you can enjoy a time of refreshment and encouragement. Go to TeachThemDiligently.net/Events to get your tickets now. Also, be sure to download the TTD App to get the most up to date schedule, links, and information and engage with us there all year long! It’s a great place to be. Again, you can get your tickets at Teach Them Diligently.net/ events now and make your plans to join us later this week.
