Bridgerton Virtual Event Feb 21, 2022

Show notes

Valentine’s Day 2022 was amazing!!
The Sharmas, Simone Ashley and Charitha Chandran, graced our screens first and they stunned.
There were multiple sneak peaks that we will discuss once they are fully released. #Peneloise was one clip and the daffodils discussion has started.
The teaser trailer shocked us with shirtless scenes, a moustache, Newton and more. We will breakdown the teaser soon so carve out an hour in your schedule when it drops! *wink*
How much do you love the movie poster?? We love the fan service!
The Secret Bridgerton Ball events have official started in the UK and if you want some costume inspo, the photos are enchanting.
Another costume source will be available March 3rd as The Carousel @ Bloomindales will drop the Bridgerton collection online and at the 59th St flagship store in New York. The pop-up shopping experience will include many Bridgerton-inspired products so set your calendars!
Just a reminder, “I burn for you” is Anthony’s line. You can giggle along with us as “The cast of Bridgerton proves everything sounds better in a British accent” (Entertainment Weekly).
How many times have you watched the clips and teaser trailer?? We will be breaking down the teaser and please let us know your thoughts and theories!! Until then, join us as we are grateful for the virtual event and everything we have been given so far!

Bridgerton Entertainment Weekly Uproar Feb 07, 2022

Show notes

So how do we get to party with Charithra Chandran, Claudia Jesse, Luke Newton, and Nicola Coughlan?! The Entertainment Weekly photos were everything. EW also released many articles, so grab your tea and biscuits for a reading sesh:

Many fans are excited and non-Julia Quinn authors are fans too. Author Tessa Dare showed us on Twitter how awesome she is!
The five scene stills look like regular pictures to moon over, but did you notice tulips, letters not gossip, certain colors, and ankles? Is someone home from holiday or is the Bridgerton brood looking at Eloise? Maybe she got ready for her first official ball.
Speaking of balls, a videographer claims there will be two big balls in the upcoming season. So, the rumored masquerade ball will just be considered an end credits scene?!
Charitha Chandran slaying on British Vogue!
Watch out for Bridgerton Experience DC news, the location could be revealed.
For those going to the Secret Bridgerton Ball in the UK, sign in and check out the dance videos and practice your Regency moves.
You may need to move around your schedule (again) this week because more buzz may be coming our way, if not on the 6th then on the 9th of February. The Bridgerton Camp has been feeding us on Wednesdays lately. Until then, please remember that we’re all entitled to our own opinions and theories, and essentially we are all fans. Let’s just be grateful for the piece of honeycomb we’re given every time!

Bridgerton Teaser Trailer Coming?? Jan 30, 2022

Show notes

It has been quiet-ish from Camp Bridgerton, that can only mean teaser trailer!? Netflix UK and Ireland tweeted “that one of the questions you ask us a LOT will be answered next week.” If last year’s timeline is followed and with the Bridgerton question going unanswered, set your alarms for 9am EST for bee news this week!
Chris Van Dusen answered tweets also. Kate hunting got a fan asking if Taylor Swift is on the soundtrack. There were three stars on CVD’s answer so will a three person group like Destiny’s Child and Jonas Brothers be on the soundtrack?
Colin Firth dripping went got us wondering who will have a wet t-shirt and was it intentional or not.
It is confirmed-ish that there is a desk scene at Aubrey Hall. Our IG poll favored an Aubrey Hall scene, but really we are open for a London study scene too.
Double the cuteness-trouble on set. There is actually two “dogtors” who play the chubby corgi!
As the Bridgerton Experiences near and details are slowly releasing, will the Vitamin D quartet be making an appearance? What we know is key scenes will be reenacted, but with an audience member??
Calam Lynch who plays Theo Sharpe posted a photo and unapologetically many of us probably zoomed in on the papers printed for Lady Whistledown goss before zooming in on his handsome face.
Nicola Coughlan will be on the March issue of Elle UK magazine. #Polin spicy scenes were mentioned and realization is setting in that she will kiss her good friend on the lips!
Before season one premiered, there was an invite for a Global Virtual event. We are hoping it is going to happen again and we would be getting more info soon!
In other bee news, Queen Charlotte posted a get together with Lady Danbury, Lady Bridgerton, and Brimsley in modern wear. Charithra Chandran is on the Netflix Golden video, more info to come. Also, one of Nicola’s BFFs Jonathan Van Ness has asked for a cameo!
We all are happy for any goodies coming! However, join us as we anticipate a season two teaser trailer!

Bridgerton Season 2 First Looks Jan 23, 2022

Show notes

We were given a sweet gift this week, Season 2 photos! And… we finally saw the fourth Sharma, Newton!!
The Featherington women are shining and they look amazing in rose gold! They’re wearing the same colors as Kate in the dance photo with Anthony, so where is that ball located?? Someone spilled the tea and claims that the photo is from episode four.
ABC shows us another skill, fencing with their amazing leg extension. That scene is an ode to Mr. Darcy, of course Chris Van Dusen’s favorite, the Colin Firth version.
Queen Charlotte may not be a fan of Lady Whistledown every time, however she will always buy the articles for the latest goss!
The Sharmas and Newton may be in their very own drawing room if the rose gold wallpaper is one of their family colors. Now, who’s across of them, suitors or Anthony? However, the majority of our focus does go to chubby corgi Newton.
#Peneloise are together in Eloise’s room, and we are wondering if Penelope will divulge her biggest secret to her BFF this season.
Other than Pall Mall, there seems to be a hunting party at Aubrey Hall and we can’t wait to see Kate dominate the event. Plus, does the mystery guy next to Benedict serve to distract Kate away from Anthony while trying to court Edwina?
Kate and Anthony having a lovely dance together will probably end in an argument or completely different facial expressions at least.
Some clever and busy bee fan discovered that actor Chris Fullerton aka Sir Philip has been liking only #Peneloise photos!
Check out the appreciative article by Alicia Vrajlal “As A South Asian Woman, Seeing Two Darker-Skinned Women On Bridgerton Means Everything” on refinery29.com.
We can’t wait for more Bridgerton news. In the meantime, check out “More First-Look Photos From ‘Bridgerton’ Season Two!” Shondaland.com and “’Bridgerton’ Teases Season 2 With New Photos” on etonline.com for the full articles about Season 2 and the photos!

Bridgerton Pre-Season 2 Teaser/Trailer Theories with @BridgertonBR Jan 17, 2022

Show notes

Thank you to Camilla, Mari, Tess, of Bridgerton Brasil for joining us and sharing their season two theories with us!
We discussed secondary characters who will be or we hope will be in season two, such as, Miss Marina Thompson, Sir George Crane, and the change to their story from the books.
Some of the books happen concurrently. Will we see certain relationships happen like Francesca and John Stirling? The actor casted as John doesn’t have a surname (still) so it’s possible that he is both a Stirling and a Featherington heir.
Carrying over from season one, does Madame Delacroix have an alias like Sophie. Sophie has been casted and we’re waiting to find out if she’s connected to the Cowpers.
Of course we have theories about Kanthony and Siena may be the source of hostility when it comes to Edwina’s future. There may be a non-aristocrat suitor for Edwina, though!
We did get some confirmation from director Tom Verica! Check out his Twitter account for information such as season two will only be eight episodes and his favorite is episode six.
The Bridgerton Experience is coming up and the Montreal location has been released.
Be aware that this episode contains spoilers for those who haven’t read the series. Also, our theories are based on information pre-teasers, pre-teaser trailers, and pre-trailers so we look forward to meeting up @BridgertonBR again to share better predications Until then, we’ll be buzzing around for any news and let us know if you have other theories!

Show notes

What can we expect with season two? Forearms according to Jonathan Baily aka Anthony Bridgerton, and 10 episodes!
The Julia-verse, Quinn-iverse, Bridger-verse (we’ll figure it out) is releasing the book series again in two separate box sets. Unfortunately, Miss Butterworth and the Mad Baron has been postponed from March to May 2022. However, we’re getting The Viscount Who Loved Me show tie-in on March 22nd! Pre-order before they sell out. If you want your books autographed, order from University Bookstore.
Speaking of selling out, were you able to order the Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton collab make-up? Keep a look out, we may be doing a giveaway. We are going to do some book giveaways at the least.
We haven’t found a source we can read, however we got some spinoff news. Casting has started and the show is titled “Charlotte.” What a statement!
It’s about two and a half months until season two. Are you as anxious and excited as we are for a teaser trailer??

Bridgerton Lewks, Costumes & Cooking Nov 07, 2021

Show notes

Phoebe Dynevor and Golda Rosheuvel looked amazing at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards!
Three beautiful and talented Bridgerton show women were on The Hollywood Reporter’s Rising Young Stars list.
Speaking of lists, Bridgerton’s Lady Danbury was listed to be a popular Halloween costume this year. We managed to have Lady Danbury in our costume pictures and Adjoa Andoh commented. All the Bridgerton costumes we saw really were phenomenal!
Now we’re headed into the holiday season aka cooking season. If you want to try something new this year, check out the latest in its kind, “The Unofficial Bridgerton Cookbook” by Lex Taylor.
They say a cup of tea fixes everything. Someone spilled and it fixed our need for spilled Bridgerton tea especially about the Bridgerton brothers!
We hope you’re cooking up with your own Bridgerton brothers season two theories! Until then, join us as we discuss lewks, costumes and cooking!
