Talking Trek After Dark: The Aftershow 2-16-22 Feb 17, 2022

Show notes

WARNING: this episode contains explicit language, wild antics, inappropriate comments, and most other stuff that's a lot of fun for anyone who is above the age of 18. this episode is NSFW.

On this after show, we begin with Ripper and Bubba shooting the bull and DJz hops in from the car. We talk a little about dabo tokens, comparative payouts, and WHY dabo tokens MAY be getting a bad rap unfairly. Ripper hates on STFC.space (yes he owns it) and we touch on the insanity of the mid g5 economy. Then DJz gets back to the studio and basically, a whole second show begins, touching on f2p paths for primes, g5 scrapping, event modifications, wish list mechanics, and some areas of stupidity. Welcome to Talking Trek After Dark....

Feesha, ROA Arc, Dabo Bundles - What’s Good and What’s Just BAD? Feb 16, 2022

Show notes

Hey commanders! Tonight was our first night back in a week and boy was there a lot to discuss. We began with a quick peek a the feesha changes, how they happened and why they may provide a bit of hope for an otherwise lackluster start to an arc. Then, DJz goes on the defense about why scrapping multiple d'vors BEFORE t9 COULD be wise. But does it apply to everyone? Events are under the microscope next, and this is just...... well, you'll hear it. However, there is one bright spot to the month and that is in the Dabo bundles. And yes, these are comparatively pretty decent compared to non even store months of the past (november MAYBE being an outlier, challenge ripper on that one lol) and our projections to your loot count as well as the rss that you can get from para bellum/jelly brawl. All this and SOOOO much more. What a show! Please share with your team, sub to our channels, and enjoy the show!

Duality Pt4 Finale: Final Grades ISSUED! + HINTS! Feb 02, 2022

Show notes

Tonight DJz and Bubba found themselves yet again at odds over Duality Part 4. While much of the community agreed on the event store, and loot paid, events seemed somewhat controversial, from Ba'el's Meta, to the number of Armada Events. And DJ yet again found himself on the opposite side of the what seemed to be the majority opinion. However, Bubba Jo comes to the rescue, proving once again, that this show can be a platform FOR ALL, to feel heard, represented, and advocated for, no matter what side of an issue you are on. Talking Trek is here for ALL voices, not just one. What side of the issue do you take? Let us know by leaving comments, or emailing us at talkingTrekSTFC@gmail.com

Duality Final Days: What You MUST Know In The Next 24 Hours! Jan 30, 2022

Show notes

On today's show we begin our summary wrap up of the final chapter of Duality. But this episode is TIME SENSITIVE, because there are things live in the game right now that you'll wanna consider before they're gone in less than 48 hours! Recruiting, Officers, Loot, and so much more! Did Scopely finally get a finale RIGHT? In addition, WAS it "perfect?" Probably not.... Still, players are largely satisfied overall with rewards, but issues with bracketing, oversight, typos and clarification remain at the forefront. But certainly, there were some good things that happened this month. Let's discuss! And we thank you in advance for sharing with your team, subbing to our channels, and ENJOYING the show!

Too Many Events? Hush that Dirty Mouth Jan 23, 2022

Show notes

Today was a rough one. We never got the plan for the show, so that's been pushed. The packers lost. Covid is running rampant, and my escape from real life isn't providing for me. So, this is one of those shows that you hear the other side of DJz. Great conversations happened, but it's up to Bubba Jo and the community to show DJ why the game is worth playing this weekend. Plus, DRASTIC news is announced near the end, and a convo ensues. HOW can Scopely make it worth it? All this and more on arguably the worst production of the show in over a year. Sorry. Please MAYBE share with your team (if you're cool with them hearing a very subpar broadcast) sub to our channels (i promise it will be better in the future) and ENJOY (bear) the show.

Duality Event Store & Ticketed Events Value Jan 19, 2022

Show notes

On tonight's show, lots of silliness occurred, but some good math too. We take a good hard look at where we stand regarding event store loot, and what our predictions will be for total available loot for the f2p. We also look at ticketed event value, and see if it's actually there. what in the event store is worth your investment? Plus, we break down the slew of armada events and how to play the next couple of runs that are coming up. Near the end we even give you a blurb on the last run of the Borg interim event, and how it's changed! LOTS of great info in this episode, plus some super great silliness regarding the fact that DJz has no power, no heat, and is generally freezing his furry butt off. All this and more! This is a can't miss show folks! Please share with your team, sub to our channels, and ENJOY this show!
