That was a spoiler, but I had to reveal it so I could reveal this: once they are, it's far from the best day ever. For example, what kind of lie is audacious enough to convince a mother to turn a blind eye to her son's recent insane behavior? How difficult can it be to unite a team toward a common goal? And why did I not name this episode "Charles the Librarian Finds a Book"? Well, I can only answer that last one. Because I thought the thing with the Watermelon was funnier. Sorry, Josh.

Never split the party. First rule of tabletop gaming, that's what they tell you. Well, this episode marks a momentous occasion where we broke that rule, and paid for it. It's tempting to split up when you're in the moment. Call it the Scooby Doo Effect. There's advantages in gaining access to more clues, accomplishing more at once, and everyone has less chance that they'll fade into the background, lonely and forgotten while other characters spring to the forefront of the story. What was our reasoning? What can I say, really. Nobody else wanted to have lunch with Issac's mom.

Man, it's really difficult balancing what we know and what our original personalities know, you know? As we get closer to discovering why the rum's gone, we also get closer to blowing our cover and losing our sanity. It kinda sucks constantly having a watchdog on us, barely having a chance to take stock of the situation and try to figure out what's really going on. It's an impossible situation, listen as we struggle through it.
