    Syracuse, picked to finish ninth in its league in the preseason and the point guard passed over by nearly every Division I program in the country fell just short against a perennial national powerhouse on Monday night

    The UConn Huskies clinched a 30th straight Sweet 16 and beat Syracuse for the 27th straight time, but none of those games were as close as this one.

    Dyaisha Fair capped a remarkable career as the third all-time leading scorer in NCAA women's basketball history.
