Cambodia Episode 13 Dec 10, 2015

Show notes

Finally, after 35 days, the most ephemeral, emotional, difficult to work with castaway of the season was finally removed from the game. Probst really nailed it in his post Tribal summary, "this is the most unpredictable season in the history of the game". It's anyone's guess how this one is going to play out, especially since we're going into the finale with 6 castaways still in the hunt. Was now the right time to get rid of Abi? Which final 3 are in the best position to make it to the end? Do you think we'll see the two remaining HIIs played? What's the most unlikely final 3 alliance you can think of? Will you be disappointed if any of the remaining six win? Who deserves it the most? Who do you think will win it all?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 13. OrKun :Jeremy, Keith, Kimmi, KWent, Spencer, and Tasha

Cambodia Episode 12 LF Dec 06, 2015

Show notes

Overall sentiment for this season remains incredibly strong. With only two episodes left, the game remains unpredictable and from the feedback this week, there are lots of potential winners in the mix. Overall, there was much sadness for the exit of Joey Amazing, although some saw it as appropriate given his inability to secure individual immunity two weeks in a row. We were also slightly split on the emotional impact of the family visit. Many were impacted by it but a few were left to wonder if it wasn't a bit contrived at least with respect to one of the castaways. We're all excited to see what happens next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great LF show. This week we heard from: Pat, James, Charlotte, Pete, Rashmi, Sandi, Marla & Sarah, FD, Drew & Charlie, Kenny, Shannon, Skippy, Carolyn, Jody, Jeremiah, Josh, Jen and Paul.

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 12 of Survivor Cambodia Dec 03, 2015

Show notes

This week we interviewed Joe Anglim. He left the game in episode 12 of Survivor Cambodia. They called him Joey Amazing, and he lived up to that title with great performances in challenges, inventing things to make camp life more bearable, and even displayed major improvements in his social game too. He appeared invincible all the way to day 29, when he first stumbled but was spared. It all came crashing down on day 32 though, and the majority decided it was finally time for him to go. Listen to this interview to find out how he tried to save himself from fainting, the lingering effects from this season, what happened at tribal council that we didn't see and more!

Cambodia Episode 12 Dec 03, 2015

Show notes

It's family visit time! Probst seemed intent on wringing every last bit of emotion out of this one, and we got closure for several story lines that were set up back at the beginning of the season for Jeremy, Spencer, and Joe. The most significant moment for this episode will surely be the end to a big story arc with Joey Amazing finally pushing himself to the limit and coming up short. No doubt, there were many sad Survivor fans tonight. What did you think about this family visit? Did it hit you harder than in previous seasons? What did you think of the decision to get rid of Joe? What are the chances that Kimmi's plan for an all women's alliance might happen? Which would be better for Tasha? Who do you think will end up being the swing vote: Keith or Tasha? Who do you think will be next to go?

Listen to this interview to find out how he felt about his edit, how his view of Survivor and himself has changed, who he is cheering for, how he will decide who gets his final vote and more!

Cambodia Episodes 10 and 11 LF Nov 29, 2015

Survivor fans agree, this Thanksgiving brought us a cornucopia of riches with a double episode, epic blindsides, fantastic challenges, and best of all it kept us guessing the whole time. The consensus seems to be that Spencer, Jeremy, Wentworth and Abi are all strong candidates to make it to the end now, but who knows given all the unexpected results we've seen so far. With four episodes to go, we're excited for what comes next!

Cambodia Episodes 10 and 11 Nov 26, 2015

Show notes

Probst summed it up best, we are certainly in the midst of an unpredictable season. Who would have thought Joe could survive without winning individual immunity, or that Jeremy would save Fishbach, or better yet that Wentworth would find another HII? As Survivor fans, we certainly have a lot to be thankful for with this season. What did you think of Jeremy's move to save Fishbach? The immediate returns were short lived, but will it buy him anything down the road? What did you think of how Fishbach used his advantage? Who will get the credit for taking out Fishbach? What happens to Jeremy, Tasha and Kimmi now? Who do you think will be next to go?

Cambodia Episode 9 LF Nov 21, 2015

Show notes

Jeremy really hit pay dirt this week. Not only did finding a second HII increase his chances of survival, but he absolutely touched a soft spot with the fans with his confessional pledge to use them to make life better for his wife and kids. Lot's of folks are jumping on the Jeremy bandwagon to win now. We were more split on the decision to blindside Wiglesworth. Some saw the vote as a solid choice and others wondered about the associated fall out, and if there were better, more significant targets that were overlooked. We're all looking forward to next week's double episode!

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 9 of Survivor Cambodia Nov 20, 2015

Show notes

This week we interviewed Kelly Wiglesworth. She left the game in episode 9 of Survivor Cambodia. A sense of nostalgia, going back 15 years to the first season made voting Kelly back for a second chance a no brainer for many fans. Unfortunately, her style of game play combined with an injury made her almost invisible this season. In the end, her most dramatic moment came when she was blindsided. Listen to this interview to find out how Fishbach's advantage affected his alliance, details on the injury that haunted her throughout most of the game, how she'll decide who gets her final vote and more!
