Welcome to Part 1 of our JABBIC, Judge A Book By Its Cover, preseason show for season 42. Similar to last season, we have all new players, so we have very little information to go on when theorizing how we think they will perform. We have shared our early thoughts on each of the castaways including how well we think they will do in the overall game to kick off another season of watching Survivor together.

Now it is your turn. We want to hear what you think about the 18 castaways and how you think they'll approach the Beware Advantages, Shot in the Dark, and bonding hikes up the hill at Shipwreck wheel island for the next 3 months. Let us know how well you think they will or won't do this season. We want to hear about who you had the strongest reaction to. Who's going to be voted out first? While many expressed their enjoyment of the finale and the season as a whole, there was also a big group of fans left scratching their heads and wondering how we got this outcome. This season's edit misled lots of fans and hid the details of the winner and that's a recipe for confusion and dissatisfaction. Season 41 Finale Recap Dec 16, 2021

This season had it's share of rough spots, but at least we got a fun finale. We enjoyed the challenges, the end game strategizing, social maneuvering and the final tribal council. We were satisfied with the winner. What did you think of the finale? Do you agree with the castaways that this was the hardest season in the history of Survivor?

It was sad to see such a fan favorite get taken out just before the end, but it was balanced out by another solid episode. We got classic gameplay, a separate physically demanding reward challenge, another good immunity challenge with some good strategizing before Tribal too.
