China Finale Dec 18, 2007

Show notes

It's great to see two real Survivor fans in the final three. It certainly seemed like Amanda had a lock on it. Many listeners have been singing her praises from early in the game. You never quite know how the final tribal council will play out though. Sometimes the jury votes out of anger, other times they realize it's a game and reward someone that played well.

What did you think about how the final four finished the season? Do you think Todd and Amanda had an unfair advantage given their knowledge of the game? Do you think Denise would have won if she had made it to final three? Do you think the best player won?

You've got one more opportunity to share your views on Survivor China. We'll be doing the final Listener Feedback show for this season on Thursday, 12/20. We're looking forward to hearing from you one more time.

Oh yeah, we got to go to the Survivor China finale and do interviews on the red carpet! Watch the site here for pictures and videos this week.

China Episode 12 Dec 14, 2007

Show notes

Fei Long for the win! I guess you could look back at the last couple of episodes and claim that we got a very predictable result given that the Fei Long four held tight, but there was plenty of suspense with tonight's episode to keep us guessing.

Was anyone besides Stacy rooting for PG, even just a little to make it to final four? Do you think Courtney knew what she was doing at the reward challenge? Did she purposely give the win to Denise to avoid having to make the choices of who would get to join the winner? Did Amanda miss her chance to get rid of her biggest remaining threat? Will her decision to not eliminate Todd come back to haunt her? Who's the better Survivor player: Denise or Courtney?

Here's the final four for Survivor China. Hae Da Fung: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, and Todd We're a little confused about how this is going to play out though. The "Next on Survivor" at the end of tonight's episode said there would be 3 more tribal councils, but the "Next Episode" text at the website says that "the final three are held accountable for their actions". How can you go to Tribal Council 3 more times if we only have 4 Survivors left?

Regardless, here's how we think the final four order will play out: 4th3rd2ndWinner! Jo Ann Denise Courtney Todd Amanda Stacy Courtney Amanda Denise Todd

What are your picks for the final four order?

The intro is dedicated to Todd who managed to hang in there and thwart an all female final four. The outro is dedicated to the Great Wall. We've had the good fortune to go there and it truly is amazing. Here are links to the artists on the Podsafe Music Network in case you want to learn more about them. China Episode 11 LF Dec 12, 2007

Show notes

This is the last Listener Feedback before the finale, which means this might just be the key to guessing the correct order for the final four. The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us, share your views on the most recent episode and your predictions for what you think we can expect next. Lots of responses on Todd's disclosure. Denise appears to be someone we're all happy for when she wins or just gets included, but no one would accuse of her really playing the game to win, and feelings continue to be mixed for PG. On the one hand, she's still in the game, but everytime she talks, it's like she's pushing us away. This week we hear from: Kimberly, Kathy, Graham from Scotland, Brad, Chris, John, MikeK, Paul and Brian.

We love hearing what you thought about each episode, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro music is dedicated to the dangerous times the remaining five are facing as they enter the home stretch. The outro song highlights another danger that crops up at the end game. This week we interview Erik Huffman. Erik was voted out in episode 11 of Survivor China. China Episode 11 Dec 07, 2007

Show notes

Oh, we get it. Todd was never at risk in this episode. Those "Next on Survivor" clues from last week were just a misdirect like when they hinted that James was at risk. No, wait, that really did happen. How does this work again?

Ok, you gotta sound off on this one. Did Todd give us a Johnny Fairplay moment, or was that story about his sister true? Will the ladies rally and give us an all female final 4? PG is definitely a scrapper. Do you think she could win it all if she makes it to final 3? Do you find yourself rooting for the underdog even a little bit?

Here's the merged tribe after episode 11. Hae Da Fung: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, Peih-Gee, and Todd

Jo Ann's back to thinking PG will go next. Stacy fell for the tricky editing this week, but he's just sure Todd will be on his way out in episode 12.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

Both songs this week are dedicated to Erik. He ran out of gas and without a powerful female to guide him, he was cut adrift this week. China Episode 10 LF Dec 05, 2007

Show notes

It's time for another helping of Listener Feedback. You can bet everyone has something to say about the first Survivor to ever hold two immunity idols and get voted out before ever playing either of them. The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us, share your views on the most recent episode and your predictions for what you think we can expect next. Most of us really enjoyed episode 10 with one exception. The "cliffhanger" was a unanimous disappointment. We got some really good analysis of PGs choices for who to take on the reward challenge, Amanda taking the initiative to get rid James, an assessment of this season's real villian, and Brian brought some humble pie for everyone to enjoy! This week we hear from: Kathy, Toledo Dave, Doug, Graham from Florida, MikeF, Brad, Carol, John, Rob, Paul, Graham from Scotland, Sandi, MikeK and Brian.

The intro music is dedicated to James. We all wish we had been able to interview him last week. The outro is another beautiful tune from Kip Traylor and evokes thoughts of home and family which we expect the Survivors to be focusing on in episode 11.
