    Sully Baseball

Love baseball? Need a daily fix of talking baseball? Comedian and TV producer Paul Francis Sullivan (call him Sully) posts an original podcast every single day, 365 days a year unless it is a leap year and then he is going to do another one. Throughout the season, playoffs and off season, Sully makes his observations, voices his opinions and brings on guests like former major league players and writers and actors, including Joe Mantegna. Agree with him or not, there is always thoughtful, funny and passionate baseball talk every single day since October 24, 2012. Sully has been a producer on TV shows such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Ax Men and has appeared on ESPN2 and HBO Sports to talk baseball.

The Astros need to go all in. And that means taking Zack Greinke off of the Diamondbacks' hands. Meanwhile I have all sorts of tech issues.

    Ep. 1573 - SUNDAY REQUEST - A Runner On Second To Start Extra Innings - 2 - 12 - 2017 Feb 12, 2017
    Show notes

SUNDAY REQUEST - @rybrooks26 asks me about the proposed rule change where a runner is put on second base to start extra innings. Man alive is that idea stupid!

    Show notes

The Cardinals may have missed the post season last year (barely) and have flown under the radar this off season. But sleep on this team at your own peril. They have a combination of veterans, young players, and a bunch of comeback candidates poised to make 2017 fun for the Red Birds.

    Ep. 1568 - It Is Up To The Braves To Save Atlanta - 2 - 7-2017 Feb 07, 2017
    Show notes

Atlanta has become a city synonymous with sports suffering, especially after this Super Bowl. Maybe a rebuilt Braves team can turn that around.

    Ep. 1567 - Washing Dishes, Being Wrong And Missing A Classic Game - 2 - 6-2017 Feb 06, 2017
    Show notes

The Super Bowl was so boring and such a blow out that I decided to do the dishes and record a podcast while my sons made their lunch. With such a lackluster post season, I realized that baseball's worst post season in MY lifetime was 1989. Little did I know that while I was recording that, the Patriots were staging a comeback for the ages.

    Ep. 1566 - SUNDAY REQUEST - Be On The Right Side Of History - 2 - 4-2017 Feb 05, 2017
    Show notes

SUNDAY REQUEST - @thestartingbloc wondered if I spent too much time focusing on the negative with Aroldis Chapman in the World Series as opposed to accentuating the many positive stories. Sometimes shedding light on the negative is important.
