The first time I met Sarah was at a college party. I was helping myself to some fruit punch when she approached me. I have no clue why she walked up to me - I was this shy, awkward kid who had barely even spoken to a girl before. But then we started chatting, and next thing I knew we were dating. It felt so right being with her - she was so kind and funny and I loved her. It was towards our last year at college that I really started to think about marrying her.

It was the first day of my college. I loved helping people so I was going for a degree in philanthropy and since it was the first day, I was a little nervous. So after the first lecture, I went to the library to see if I could find anyone to have a meaningful conversation with.

But when I reached there I was pretty disappointed as there was not a single soul in there, well except for the librarian. So I thought I would just check out some books instead. As I was passing by an aisle, I suddenly bumped into someone and all the books that person was carrying fell down.

I wasn't exactly the angel son my parents wanted me to be when I grew up. They had always wanted a child, and when they finally managed to get me, I was probably not what they expected me to be. I grew up into a mischievous, spoilt little brat.

As soon as I opened the door the smell hit me like a punch in the face. How the hell does mom allow him to live like that? Anytime I couldn’t find the Ipad he was always the one who took it. All he does is play X box when he’s home. I swear he only takes it to annoy me. I always hated going in my 13-year-old brother Johnny’s room. It smelled weird, and was always dark.

The summer that we were desperately waiting for finally arrived. My friends and I had made a plan to go for a vacation in an isolated and uninhabited island for a week.

Actually, my cousin gave me the idea to go there as he had been there with his friends the summer before. He had told me that the island was big and had a huge rustic cabin and the good thing was very few people knew about it. So it was completely vacant most of the time.
