SAMUEL L. JACKSON RESPONDS TO MACE WINDU IN THE MANDALORIAN Mar 15, 2022

Show notes

Samuel L. Jackson has recently expressed interest in returning as Mace Windu in The Mandalorian. I would love to see Mace, I just wouldn't understand how he'd stay silent for so long while Vader and the Emperor thrive. They'd have to explain how he stayed hidden, and WHY he stayed hidden for so long. He doesn't seem like the type to go quietly. Learn more about your ad choices. DARTH MAUL IN KENOBI INSTEAD OF VADER SCRIPT RE-WRITE MY THOUGHTS Mar 15, 2022

Show notes

A recent report (rumor which might not be true) is circling the web and I'd like to give my thoughts on it. Darth Maul, allegedly, to be in Kenobi before the script re-write. This would have been like a Mandalorian Grogu plot line where the Mando is protecting baby Yoda. Except now it's Obi-Wan Kenobi protecting Luke Skywalker from Darth Maul. MY THOUGHTS ON THE KENOBI SCRIPT KATHLEEN KENNEDY CONTROVERSY Mar 14, 2022

Show notes

Kathleen Kennedy explains how the original script for Kenobi was too bleak. So she scrapped it and decided to go with something that ended hopeful. On one hand, this time in Star Wars is very bleak and meant to be oppressive as the Empire, Vader, Sidious and inquisitors loom over the galaxy. On the other hand, hopeful is how Ben Kenobi ends up once we get to A New Hope. So I can see where it could end in 10 years after this show's timeline, however now for just 10 years before. That's too early. Kenobi has much to understand about the force and himself, still. I think it'll be fine, until the show is complete and we see it in its entirety. Learn more about your ad choices.
