HOW GEORGE LUCAS WANTED YODA AND OBI-WAN TO HELP FIGHT PALPATINE - STAR WARS EXPLAINED PART 6 Mar 31, 2022

Show notes

In Return of the Jedi's original script (PART 6), formally known as REVENGE of the Jedi, we get to see the original ideas and script that George Lucas had for the final installment in the Star Wars Skywalker saga. Would you have liked this outcome? With Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke fighting Palpatine? I kind of like it. I think it was nice, but I also like what we got. Should Vader have killed Palpatine or should Yoda? What did Yoda mean by there are more? Did more Jedi survive Order 66? Or did they learn how to become a force ghost? Are they more powerful now?? LUCASFILM JUST CHANGED ANAKIN AND THE SEQUELS THIS IS BIG - MY THOUGHTS Mar 28, 2022

Show notes

Star Wars has just released an excerpt from the new Luke Skywalker and Lando book titled Star Wars and the Shadow of the Sith, on their website for all to read. I was not expecting this to go where it did. Anakin shows up as a force ghost, wielding his lightsaber, takes Luke's hand amidst a battle with 9 Snoke beings with red lightsabers, and vanishes with him. What the heck is going on? This is wild. Let's go through it and I can give my discombobulated thoughts on it. What are your thoughts on this? Do you like that Anakin isn't really gone? Do you think this could set a new path for episode 10 or the shows that will come after Rise of Skywalker? Does this change the sequels for you? For me, the sequels still don't stand in my mind. That said, I think this is one way to move forwards with Anakin and Luke Skywalker still around and as powerful as ever. It's cheap, and cheesy, but it's better than them being gone... Thoughts? Be kind to one another, it's ok to disagree if you do. Learn more about your ad choices. AMAZING NEWS ABOUT KENOBI SHOW FOR ANAKIN AND VADER - MY THOUGHTS Mar 25, 2022

Show notes

Deborah Chow has just revealed what we were all suspecting. That Vader at this point is a very different Vader from A New Hope. I believe this will be the most conflicted Vader we've ever had to see, yet! I think it's something super exciting when we come across Vader battling with Anakin internally while hunting down Obi-Wan Kenobi with his inquisitors. I am so HYPED for this show now even more. Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor talking with Deborah Chow about Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi really is an important thing because it tells me she is aware that these actors know these characters better than anyone, especially after being taught about them by George Lucas, himself. Hopefully this show will be amazing! I can't wait. Learn more about your ad choices. THE FIRST JEDI MASTER ANAKIN KILLED DURING ORDER 66 ( AT JEDI TEMPLE ) Mar 24, 2022

Show notes

In Revenge of the Sith we got the biggest turning point in the Star Wars universe, Order 66, where Anakin cut off Mace Windu’s hand and Sidious threw him out the window. It was after this that Anakin was dubbed as Darth Vader. The entire conversation from the novel is quite different from what we got in the film. Let’s jump into this fascinating subject! Show notes

With Kenobi on the rise, it's time we go over every Inquisitor. Today, let's touch up on The Fifth Brother who met his untimely demise at the hands of Darth Maul in Star Wars Rebels. He was one of my favorite Inquisitors as he was very loyal to Vader, even after getting his hand cut by the Dark Lord. Who are you most excited to see in the Kenobi show, Inquisitor wise?
