The Bad Batch Episode 9 - THIS FELT LIKE STAR WARS Mar 27, 2024

Show notes

What an episode, finally Star Wars feels like Star Wars again and all because we have a force user and a lightsaber.

Omega follows after Batcher who hears a noise in a cavern. She walks in and finds a ship, and out walks Asajj Ventress. Back from the dead! I have no idea how she survived, but we’ll get to that later.

The bad batch see Asajj holding Omega and tells them Fennec sent her. How she found their location, who knows, but she is Asajj. Now if you don’t know who Asajj is, I’ll make some videos about her to be released this week for you. Basically, she’s a very very powerful force user who was the apprentice of Count Dooku at one point during the clone wars. She was a separatist and is the one who gave Anakin his eye scar.

Asajj tells them that M-Count means midichlorians and those who have it are more capable of wielding the force.

She says it doesn’t mean you’re a jedi, but it means you could develop abilities if trained properly.

She mentions how kaminoans made millions of clones, so it is possible that one clone would become force sensitive out of millions of clones. This is accurate with lore, as Starkiller had to be cloned over and over and over again for him to finally be made properly without any issues.

Leia's Lightsaber Episode 9 Unboxing and Review - Korbanth Sabers Mar 27, 2024

Show notes

Today I'm reviewing my Leia saber that I ordered from Korbanth Sabers.

All in all a nice saber, the hilt is definitely one of the most aesthetic. This was Leia's saber seen in Star Wars Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker when she was training with Luke (the flashback with his green lightsaber).

George Lucas BACKLASH IS BAD - My RAW Thoughts Mar 26, 2024

Show notes

Regardless what George Lucas says publicly about his friend Bob Iger, we need to keep it respectful. He still is the man who created this entire galaxy, and we cannot forget that or be vulgar to him. George always has a reason behind the things he says, and the things he does, I trust him, and maybe he's being a little political, while telling Bob Iger his true thoughts behind closed doors (I hope).

That said, I would have loved for him to vocally say that Disney has taken Star Wars in another direction, however, it wasn't about Star Wars, it was about Disney's operation of, well, Disney.

George Lucas got Dumped on by Hollywood - My Thoughts Mar 25, 2024

Show notes

In this episode I want to talk about the book by JW Wrinzler titled Howard Kazanjian: A Producer's Life and in particular the part where George Lucas didn't even get a nomination for Episode 1's costumes which is ridiculous. I think Hollywood, as George has explained with disdain, always dumped on George for just being the rogue filmmaker who didn't need Hollywood.

There are many youtube clips of George giving speeches about Hollywood. I'd highly recommend checking them out.

Disney Files Patent for Most Realistic Lightsaber Ever - Star Wars News Explained Mar 24, 2024

Show notes

After 40 years we're getting a bit closer...collectible wise at least.

Disney files a patent to make the most realistic lightsaber we've ever gotten. Until now it's been all just cone extendable or force fx lightsabers with fixed blades...but now...we get to power them up and down just like in the movies. I think this will make a fine addition to my collection...
