Why Young Boba Fett Mentions Cad Bane to Jango Jul 02, 2023

Show notes

The Book of Boba Fett reintroduced the relationship between Boba Fett and Cad Bane. Bane was mentored by Jango Fett, and Boba was mentored by Cad Bane. The two had an interesting relationship and I'd definitely like to see more of it in future shows and perhaps Boba Fett season 2.

The Book of Boba Fett: MY REVIEW Jul 02, 2023

Show notes

The Book of Boba Fett answered a few questions and opened others. The show, while fun and flashy and entertaining, didn't feel like it had a consistent theme. The show was a bit all over the place. Between Boba, Mando, Grogu, Luke, and Ahsoka, I couldn't tell who's show this really was. I'd like to believe there will be a second season, and I hope Cad Bane wasn't brought in just to be terminated so quickly.

Overall the show was fun, but it was a mess. It felt like the finale could have been one of the episodes to build Boba's character and struggle. maybe it could have been the 4th episode, and then we'd have 3 more episodes to go where the real big villains reveal themselves, perhaps the Hutts, perhaps a crime syndicate, anyone really.

The show started and ended with the Pykes, and it could have been so much more that that.

Book of Boba Fett Episode 7 Breakdown FINALE Jul 02, 2023

Show notes

let me just say this episode could have ended super easily by Boba summoning his Slave 1 ship from his gauntlet, and once it arrives, he hops in and just destroys all forces opposing him. He could have literally won in a couple minutes. Not sure why he didn’t utilize his ship. We’ve seen what ship blasters can do the shields like in the phantom menace when Anakin blasted droidekas in his royal n-1 naboo starship.

Cad Bane Devastating Final Predictions For Book of Boba Fett FINALE Jul 02, 2023

Show notes

my final predictions for Book of Boba Fett.

I think Cad Bane might have some sort of beskar bullet which could be lethal!

I also think Grogu will eventually go back with Luke in the end once he realizes how important it is to develop his abilities.

The Yoda Grogu Lightsaber Problem - Book of Boba Fett Explained Jul 02, 2023

Show notes

In the Book of Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker presented Grogu with Yoda's lightsaber from Revenge of the Sith! This was a huge surprise, since many of us thought Yoda's lightsaber was long gone.

In this episode, I'm going to explain the retcon of Yoda's lightsaber from the canon star wars comics, as well as how I think Yoda picked his lightsaber up from his duel with Palpatine in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith in the senate arena while Anakin fought Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar.

I'm down with this retcon, I think Yoda's lightsaber should show up instead of being destroyed by Mas Amedda after Order 66 on the Jedi.

Cad Bane Killed The Tuskens in Book of Boba Fett Jul 02, 2023

Show notes

In the book of Boba Fett, when Cad Bane meets Cobb Vanth, he tells him that Boba Fett is a cold blooded killer that worked for the empire, to which Cobb says tell your spice runners tattooine is closed for business. Cad tells him you should have never given up your armour.

How the heck does he know Cobb had Boba’s armor and that he gave it to the Mandalorian.

Clearly, Cad has been keeping track of everything going on in Tatooine. This must have been a major prospect planet for the Pykes. They were probably scouring different planets out for which is best to sell spice through, and Tatooine definitely won, or became a more prime hub for it. This means that Cad knows about the Mandalorian, he knows about Boba Fett not having his armour, so probably he’s the one who killed the Tuskens and had been keeping an eye on them for a while as the pykes were travelling through Tatooine to do their trading, and he was hired to keep the operation going smoothly. This one line of dialogue is more creepy than I think many are giving it credit for. It’s super unsettling how privy Cad is to all the events going on in Tatooine and all the characters we’ve been following for so long, he’s been there watching and keeping tabs. It makes me wonder what would have happened had he actually been a bounty hunter to get Grogu from the Mandalorian. I don’t think the Mandalorian would have had a chance. While the dark troopers were powerful physically, they weren’t very bright. Cad Bane’s big brain houses decades of fighting experience and war tactics that make him who he is. The only thing is, he’s now so old, so I wonder how he’s going keep up with all the fighting going down. Does he have backup? I can’t imagine he’s the only one who’s protecting the pykes. There must be more muscle behind their grand plan and projects, and I think it’s Crimson Dawn. I also believe Cad has some others he brought with him, like Boba Fett brought Fennec, Cad probably called up Bossk, who is equally as terrifying as Black Krrsantan.

Why do you think Cad Bane knows so much about Cobb’s armour? Was he the one who killed Boba’s Tusken village? Where’s the warrior who Boba worked with? What happened to her?

Why Dooku Forbid Qui-Gon Jinn from Prophecies (GOLD PROPHECY REVEALED - NOT ANAKIN'S) - CANON Jul 01, 2023

Show notes

In Master and Apprentice, we get to see the beautiful relationship between just that, master qui gon jinn and his apprentice obi-wan Kenobi develop through their missions and time together like father and son. In an excerpt from the novel, we however go further back in time, and see Qui-Gon on the very first day where he met his new master, Count Dooku.

Dooku, standing what seemed like metres above the young boy, tested him by asking the young jinn on what he feared. Qui-Gon told him honestly that he feared not being good enough, he feared failure, and Dooku was very impressed with this response. He felt Qui-Gon had passed his test for the day. So he took him on a tour of the Jedi Temple, passing through the many rooms and gardens…he eventually took him to see Jocasta Nu and to the temple archives. Once there, he showed Qui-Gon the holocron section…explaining to him briefly what this or that one does…until young qui-gon was pulled towards one in particular. A golden one that looked unlike any of the others, old and ancient. He put his hand to the gold surface as he asked what’s this one. .
