ORIGINAL Luke VS Kylo Ren Fight Scene We ALMOST Got - Star Wars The Last Jedi Explained Aug 13, 2023

Show notes

In Star Wars The Last Jedi we got a very cool scene at the end of the film...Luke Skywalker goes to Crait to FIGHT Kylo Ren in an all out lightsaber duel...however..we learn that he wasn't really there...rather he was on Ahch-To, meditating, casting a doppelganger/projection of himself to the planet.

One of the concept ideas for this scene was to have Luke Skywalker REALLY there and fight Kylo in this big rage-filled epic duel. The idea was scrapped later on because Rian felt it was confusing since Luke's X-Wing was somewhat under water and possibly destroyed (however he could have written that it was fixed or ok) and that's what led him to the ending we got, where hopefully Luke comes back as a powerful force ghost...maybe with Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda to fight Snoke (who could return as a force ghost himself).

What did you all think of this scene? What about the scene that could have happened?

How Anakin Almost KILLED Mace Windu When Denied the Rank of MASTER - Star Wars Explained Aug 12, 2023

In Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, we all know the scene where Mace Windu tells Anakin Skywalker that isn't granted the rank of Master...this leaves Anakin furious, however in the novel...there's much more to be said about Anakin's anger in front of Yoda, Obi-Wan and all the other Jedi Masters.

How Palpatine Used a LIGHTSIDE Power on ANAKIN in Revenge of the Sith - Star Wars Explained Aug 12, 2023

Show notes

In Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, there may be something we all might have simply overlooked...Once Anakin Skywalker fights Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, he is left burning to 'death' and being reborn in the true form of Darth Vader as Palpatine comes along so conveniently to apply force heal to his head...Keeping him alive just for a little bit longer, a type of selfish manipulation of the force by using the light side for a dark purpose.

Could Darth Sidious have healed Anakin/Darth Vader fully?

How does this theory play into the rest of Star Wars? If Mace Windu could use both the light and dark sides, why couldn't Palpatine? I believe he could and DID!

Is Darth Vader More Powerful Than Anakin Skywalker? (In-Depth Analysis) - Star Wars Explained Aug 12, 2023

Show notes

In Star Wars, Anakin Skywalker was the chosen one, or so the prophecy lead the Jedi to believe…and we know that Darth Vader was half man half machine after his duel on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith to Obi-Wan Kenobi…severing his connection to the force severely with his lost limbs and burned body. Once Palpatine revived him and put him into the machined body that we know Darth Vader came to be in...just who was more powerful? Now it's hard to say, as Anakin Skywalker never got to see his full potential, however we can examine Vader's peak performance next to Anakin's just before Obi-Wan Kenobi destroyed him. We'll examine lightsaber fighting styles (Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan and Count Dooku), force powers, and everything in between in this episode of Star Wars Theory.

So we've heard of Darth Vader's crimson lightsaber...we've seen Darth Maul's double bladed lightsaber...we've encountered Kylo Ren's crossguard lightsaber given to him by Snoke (or so we believe)...we've also heard about lightwhips in legends (Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice) and many more...but what about THE most insane one?

You might be surprised as to who wields it...or rather who his supposed father was...

The Dark Side Dragons Who Turned Jedi into Sith After Order 66 - Star Wars Explained Aug 12, 2023

Show notes

In Legends, the ancient Dark Side Dragon of the Hssiss species was a dangerous one. They eventually adopted the Dark Side that possessed them and over time were moulded by it. Just after Order 66, they actually were sent to find remaining Jedi and turn them to the Dark Side through a single bite or scratch. The rest of their information can bee learned about in this video. I wonder if they'll make an appearance in Star Wars The Last Jedi.
