The Clone Who Betrayed His Brothers and Anakin Aug 15, 2023

Show notes

Today we will talk about Slick, the Clone Trooper who felt he was helping his brothers by exposing the Jedi for using Clone Troopers as slaves essentially. In the end, he tried to hurt his brothers by revealing their location to the Separatists and going as far as almost shooting one point blank.

Was Slick right? Do you think he truly had his brothers' best interest in mind?

The Jedi who Became a Sith After The Clone Wars - Darth Krayt Top 10 Facts Aug 15, 2023

Show notes

Darth Krayt is a villain that I would have loved to have seen replace Snoke in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. I think he would have made for a much more interesting character, and perhaps could have been working under Palpatine's resurrected soul if they wanted to go with that story still.

Darth Krayt AKA A'sharad Hett, knew Anakin Skywalker and fought in The Clone Wars. He later went to outlive Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine after Return of the Jedi's timeline to have confrontations with Cade Skywalker.

The FAKE Return of the Jedi Script with Luke Written to Avoid Spoilers Aug 15, 2023

Show notes

The Making of Star Wars Return of the Jedi reveals a ton of stuff about the movie and original script. In today's episode, let's go over the fake script that was put out there when the film wasn't released yet. George Lucas instated this fake script to avoid spoilers in the audience, which of course, was way easier to avoid back then, than today.

In this fake script, we get Luke Skywalker defeating Palpatine, throwing the Emperor over the railing as Vader did. We also see a different Vader when Luke unmasks him. A much more non-human Anakin Skywalker.

This fake script is the most official fan-fiction we could get for the ending of Return of the Jedi.

If Luke killed the Emperor, it wouldn't have closed the circle for Anakin's fulfillment of the prophecy. Anakin HAD to kill the Emperor. It was Anakin's redemption that made the story come full circle, and I'm so happy it went the way it did.

How Bane Got the Title of Darth - Star Wars Explained Aug 15, 2023

Show notes

Darth Bane was a pioneer Sith who started the Rule of Two.

Here is his story in legends as to how he gave himself the title of Darth (very BAD A..!)

It was Bane's Rule of Two that later went to inspire Plagueis and Palpatine, who eventually jumped from Maul to Dooku to Anakin/Vader, all the while respecting the Rule of Two which was established by Darth Bane.

How Palpatine Hid his Sith Eyes From the Jedi - Star Wars Explained Aug 14, 2023

Show notes

Sith eyes tell no lies. You see those golden red eyes? Then you see a Sith Lord! How did Palpatine / Darth Sidious hide his Sith eyes for so long from the Jedi? It's the same way Anakin Skywalker shifted his eyes in my opinion.
