Reacting to My Star Wars Forum Posts from 2005...CRINGE Sep 01, 2023

Show notes

Last night I randomly went on an old forum I used to spend my teenage life on. I met a lot of great friends, some even whom I still talk to weekly. I thought it'd be fun to share what conversations Star Wars fans, including myself, were having back in those days.

Baylan's Master is PLO KOON - It Makes Sense! - Ahsoka Explained Aug 31, 2023

Show notes

Baylan Skoll had a master once at the Jedi Temple...I believe it was Plo Koon, who also found Ahsoka Tano and was very close with her. I think Baylan holds feelings for Ahsoka and this is why he is conflicted with engaging with her in lightsaber combat. He had reservations when sending the KH droids after Ahsoka in the forest with Sabine in Episode 3 after Marrok and Shin Hati couldn't find her. Plo Koon would make sense! I wonder if it's him!

Qui-Gon's Thoughts on Anakin Becoming Vader Aug 31, 2023

Show notes

Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader novel by James Luceno is an amazing book from when George Lucas owned Lucasfilm (no longer canon). I think the internal struggle of Kenobi learning that Anakin survived and is deeper in the dark side now as Vader, would be an interesting dilemma to see. Qui-Gon Jinn can be heard here in this scene to help Obi-Wan Kenobi cope with learning that Vader is alive and that Anakin's destiny will be decided by the force.

This also shows us that Qui-Gon is very aware of what's going on with Anakin and how he has singlehandedly changed the fate of the galaxy, the Jedi via Order 66 and gave rise to Palpatine.

What if Qui-Gon Was in Revenge of the Sith? - Star Wars Theory Aug 31, 2023

Show notes

Today, let's dive into a fan-fiction from Revenge of the Sith that I think would have changed the fate of Anakin's future, and the events of the galaxy as a whole.

If Qui-Gon Jinn had showed up to Anakin to speak with him during his more pivotal and dire moment, I believe so many things could have been changed.

Anakin would see that Jedi can live on beyond the living form. Anakin wouldn't rush to help Palpatine as he fought Mace Windu. He would learn all he could from his true Jedi Master.

Palpatine would eventually be arrested and Luke and Leia would be born.

Anakin would train Leia, and Yoda would train Luke, while the marriage and relationship of Anakin and Padme would be kept a secret for as long as they could. The children of Skywalker would just be strong force sensitives to the knowledge of the council, while many would suspect the truth, they would turn a blind eye until they were sure.

Maul would surface from the far reaches of space, bringing an army with Crimson Dawn to the Jedi and wreaking havoc across the galaxy.

Vader Turns an Order 66 Jedi to the Dark Side..NO THE YOUNGLINGS!! - Star Wars Explained Aug 31, 2023

Show notes

During the next phase of Order 66 after Revenge of the Sith, Vader hunts down more Jedi and absolutely breaks them. Instead of just defeating the Jedi, he makes a point of turning them to the dark side, and then killing all his Padawans.

I'm Now FULLY Convinced It's Him - Star Killer is Coming to Ahsoka Aug 31, 2023

Show notes

With last night's episode of Ahsoka (ep 3) we hear Marrok speak for the first time. I really think this character is heavily inspired by Galen Marek in The force unleashed and that we are about to get Vader's apprentice.
