What if Anakin KILLED Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith? - Star Wars Theory (FAN-FIC) Nov 30, 2023

Show notes

This one is a little more analytical than just action packed like some other fan-fics...a nice way to ease back into them I feel. What if Anakin just prodded his lightsaber deep into Palpatine's spine as he turned his back on him? We have to understand Anakin's mind set here, he was extremely unstable and I believe if the film was more 'realistic' then Anakin would do this in a fit of rage. What do you think would happen to Luke Skywalker? Would he be raised by Anakin? Would Darth Vader still be born? What about Obi-Wan Kenobi? Mace Windu??

How Return of the Jedi Was Supposed to End - Star Wars Explained Nov 30, 2023

Show notes

In today's episode of Star Wars Theory, we'll examine the original script of Star Wars The Return of the Jedi, and how Luke Skywalker was really supposed to turn into Darth Vader after Palpatine's death on the Death Star 2. What do you think about this? How would this line up episode 7 and 8? Star Wars The Force Awakens would be quite different...Maybe this is a slight congruent path Star Wars is taking for Star Wars The Last Jedi, with a darker more ominous Luke Skywalker. Maybe Rey will become a grey Jedi? Maybe there aren't anymore Jedi or Sith. Who knows.

How Qui-Gon Jinn Spoke to Yoda in Revenge of the Sith - Star Wars Explained Nov 29, 2023

Show notes

At the very end of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Master Yoda is visited by Qui-Gon Jinn during his meditation in a deleted scene that never made the final film. The scene was written in the script (can be found online) and in the novelization. The scene was later digitally inserted in the clone wars however it doesn't have the same feeling and confuses the timeline. If Yoda spoke to Qui-Gon before this, then he would have told him sooner in the films just like in the animated series.

REVENGE OF THE SITH DELETED LINE: JEDI KILL PADME - WHAT Nov 28, 2023

Show notes

In star wars revenge of the sith there was a original line that had palpatine tell Vader that Jedi terminated Padme...interesting...

How. would this change Vader's perception and path going forwards? I think he'd be super focused on finding obi-wan kenobi, but then again, what if he wipes out all the jedi...then what?
