Put the wooden spoon back across the pot, maman. That soup don't taste like nothing but armageddon... and a little like baby food. The butternut squash, maman, the butternut squash. We gonna have orange dooks tonight.

We're hurled deep into the past, maman -- and find ourselves in 1969 being pursued by a fighter pilot named captain John Christopher of the United States Air Force! Naturally, we beam him aboard and tell him all about the future! Because that… can’t cause any problems. Why are you looking at me like that, maman?

A disappointing "Star Trek: Legacy" update, maman. But also, we have news of a Picard movie, a Kelvinverse prequel, and a proper Kelvinverse 4th (but FINAL!?) installment? Wild happenings, maman. But wait, also, "Prodigy" is doing well on Netflix! Like. Everywhere. And what hope doth we have of Dr. Phlox making an appearance on "Strange New Worlds"? We'll see, maman.

We're transported to a strange, alien world that in no way looks exactly like Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park, California to slow motion wrestle an anthropomorphic Lizard at the behest of god-like angel beings who call themselves the Metrons while everyone else calls them Metrones. It's a battle to the finish, maman! Protect me from the Gorn, maman. If I hear hissing, I'll start pissing.
