They then discuss the interesting news that the USL has voted to introduce promotion and relegation in U.S. men’s soccer (10:52) before responding to a quick Premier League and ‘Daredevil’ analogy by request of the Midnight Boys (17:26) and asking each other one football question about the clubs they support (24:49).

    Drama and Controversy at the Metropolitano Mar 13, 2025

    If there’s one thing an Atlético Madrid versus Real Madrid tie doesn’t need, it’s a contentious decision. Musa and Ryan chat about Carlo Ancelotti’s side progressing after a controversial penalty shootout at the Metropolitano (02:01). Real Madrid will next face Arsenal, who drew 2-2 against PSV in the second leg (17:41), but it was even more comfortable for Aston Villa, who coasted through against Club Brugge (21:48). And Dortmund impressively saw off Lille to set up a quarterfinal tie against Barcelona (23:38).

    Alisson Saves the Day, Bayern Ease Past Leverkusen and More! Mar 06, 2025

    Musa and Ryan begin with an amazing result for Liverpool, who scored with their second shot to come back from Paris with a 1-0 lead against a PSG side who were brilliant but came up against a mighty Alisson Becker performance (02:52). Bayern are all but through, after a 3-0 win on what was a very disappointing night for Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen (10:10). Barcelona held out for a 1-0 win in Lisbon, despite being down to 10 for 70 minutes (15:22). Inter beat Feyenoord in Rotterdam, and Lautaro Martínez became Inter's all-time leading Champions League scorer (22:04).
