    How to find a mentor Dec 06, 2016

    When it comes to finding the right mentor, you must consider these important questions. At the end of the day, you're in complete control of building your true identity. With that being said, you may need to evaluate your current sources of wisdom. Take notes... Take ACTION!

    (4:11) No one is immune to the power of your environment

    (8:40) Willingness, and a commitment to growing at a fast rate = a dominant athlete's best trait

    (15:28) Assume that it's better to learn from those who've done it already

    (16:16) A mentor isn't someone who tells you what to do. YOU are the decision-maker.

    (17:50) There's no human that's inherently 'better' than you

    (19:12) Don't think that people are 'perfect'

    (20:00) A mentor is an influencer of your standards; not a creator

    (21:22) Family and friends shouldn't naturally become your mentor

    (22:10) Not everything that a good mentor does, should be emulated

    (23:15) HOW TO FIND A MENTOR

    (23:29) #1: Identify specific areas and skills that you want to master

    (24:16) #2: Research the top 3 prospective mentors in your category (globally)

    (24:46) #3: Buy their books or programs, and learn as much as possible

    (25:20) #3.5: Identify the top 3 prospective mentors in your category (in your area)

    (25:55) PRO TIP: Put their skills into practice and share your results with them

    (27:41) #4: Repetition! | "50th Law" by Robert Greene & 50 Cent

    (29:22) Identify a current mentor, and evaluate these questions...

    (30:05) Why do you listen to your current mentor?

    (30:45) What have they done, that YOU want to do?

    (31:04) What's their advice/perspective coming from?

    (32:06) Do they deserve to sound as sure as they are?

    (32:22) What are their 'fruits'?

    How to become unfazed by pressure Nov 22, 2016

    You're at the free throw line with one second left. Your team is down by one, and you're down to your last shot. Who wins: you, or your nerves? Pressure can make you scared, weak, and timid (if ignored). It can break you down, and you'll want to quit. In today's episode, I take you through the fire to target your biggest pressure points and conquer them.

    (7:31) Step 1: Be knowledgeable about your sport. Know your role.
