This week, I want to share a speech I recently gave about the secret to feeling less alone. I talk about my journey from being depressed and alone, to a more fulfilled and joyful life. Kindness, compassion, and empathy are superpowers we all have to not only change our lives, but the lives of those around us. I hope you take something away from this speech and please share it with those you feel could use it.

Robert Baer is a New York Times bestselling author and one of the most accomplished agents in CIA history. He's an intelligence and security analyst for CNN, a Time's intelligence columnist, and has contributed to Vanity Fair, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

This is a jaw-dropping conversation about the reality of the world today, from what's happening in Russia, and what's happening in the United States, to some chilling predictions. As you can hear in my questions, I was very intrigued and quite frankly shook by some of his answers. Robert has just released his new book 'The Fourth Man: The Hunt for a KGB Spy at the Top of the CIA and the Rise of Putin's Russia' which is a fascinating read and I highly recommend it. The First Black African Woman To Climb Everest Jul 19, 2022
    Show notes

Saray Khumalo made history when she became the first black African woman to climb Mount Everest. In this conversation, you'll learn how Saray tried not once, not twice, but three times to summit Everest before she was successful. It reminds me of that Winston Churchill quote "Never, never, never give up".

If we could all build such resilience in our lives, we could truly do even more extraordinary things. One line for Saray I will never forget is that "It always seems impossible until it's done".

Saray is also a mother, transformational coach, and philanthropist, helping such organizations as Kids Haven, The Lunchbox Fund, and Mandela Libraries. Learn more about Saray at www.saraykhumalo.com
