In our 153rd episode (2012:The End of the World) Irene and Rocío talk about the many rumors that have appeared recently in the newspapers and on the Internet about the supposed end of the world in the year in which we are 2012. Their points of view are completely different. Irene believes everything that she reads and is frightened a cause of news of the end of the world. Rocío, however, thinks that all are lies and hoaxes of little objective people. We are going to know their respective points of view.

En nuestro episodio número 153 (2012:El Fin del Mundo), Irene y Rocío comentan los numerosos rumores que han aparecido últimamente en la prensa y en Internet sobre el supuesto fin del mundo en el año en el que estamos 2012. Sus puntos de vista son completamente diferentes. Irene cree todo lo que lee y está asustada ante las noticias sobre el fin del mundo. In our 148th episode (I need glasses) Berta looks bad lately. She can not read well and can not watch TV clearly. She went to the ophthalmologist and she has been diagnosed with eye strain. She needs glasses. Now she is in the optician´s to see what type of glasses will have to carry on.

Ha ido al oftalmólogo y le han diagnosticado vista cansada. Necesita unas gafas. Ahora está en la óptica para ver qué tipo de gafas tendrá que llevar en adelante.

In our 146th episode (Holidays in Spain), James, Spanish and living in Moscow, Nadia, a Russian girl, are dated since a year ago. James went to work at the headquarters of his company in Moscow, and has been there four years, during which he could´nt return to Spain for various reasons, or see his family. Nadia and James are now planning their holidays and they want to go to Spain. James wants to teach her the entire country from north to south and from east to west, but he knows that is not possible, not even half, would go crazy with the rush and see nothing in depth. So they make plans for 10 days, talking about the most attractive areas for both and choosing a route.
Hola, queridos amigos, y bienvenidos a español Podcast. Soy Mercedes y estoy hablándoos desde Barcelona. En nuestro episodio número 146 (Vacaciones en España), Jacobo, español y residente en Moscú, y Nadia, rusa, son novios desde hace un año. Jacobo se fue a trabajar a la sede de su empresa en Moscú, y lleva allí cuatro años, durante los que no ha podido volver a España por diversas circunstancias, ni ver a su familia. Nadia y Jacobo están ahora planeando ir a pasar 10 días de vacaciones a España. Jacobo quiere enseñarle a Nadia el país entero, de Norte a Sur y de Este a Oeste, pero sabe que eso no es posible, ni siquiera la mitad; sería volverse locos con las prisas y no ver nada fondo. Así que hacen planes para los 10 días, comentan las zonas que más les atraen y deciden un itinerario.

In our 145th episode (I love to travel) Carlota and Belén are classmates. Today is the last day of the course. Both have worked hard all year and both have passed all the subjects. Almost there for the summer. So while taking one last coffee at the campus cafeteria, they are talking about the projects that each has for next summer, including a trip because they both love to travel.
En nuestro episodio número 145 (Me encanta viajar), Carlota y Belén son compañeras de clase. Hoy es el último día del curso. Ambas han trabajado duro durante todo el año y ambas han aprobado todas las asignaturas. Falta poco para las vacaciones de verano. Por eso, mientras se toman un último café con leche en la cafetería del campus, hablan de los proyectos que cada una tiene para el próximo verano, entre los que hay un viaje en cada caso, porque a las dos les gusta viajar.

In our 144th episode -Wikileaks-, Paula and Mariluz are preparing a presentation for the course Sociology and New Technologies. The presentation is on Wikileaks. The teacher asked them to expose in a clear and simple way what is Wikileaks, who runs it, what its goals are, what impact has been worldwide and what are the consequences of exposing confidential information to the public. Paula and Mariluz pooled information obtained both, in order to organize the contents of the presentation.

En nuestro episodio nº 144 -Wikileaks-, Paula y Mariluz están preparando una exposición para la asignatura Sociología y Nuevas Tecnologías. La exposición es sobre Wikileaks. El profesor les ha pedido que expongan de una manera clara y sencilla qué es Wikileaks, quién lo dirige, cuáles son sus objetivos, qué repercusión ha tenido a nivel mundial y cuáles pueden ser las consecuencias de exponer información confidencial a la luz pública. Paula y Mariluz ponen en común la información que ambas han obtenido, con el fin de organizar los contenidos de la exposición.
