253: Guide to Council Keleres Jun 29, 2022

Show notes

You're telling me they can fit a 25th faction into this thing? Well by gum, someone ought to teach me how to use all of 'em. Wait, someone HAS? Well butter my biscuit, ain't that just about the most important service anyone has ever provided. Just you wait, I'mma listen to that final faction guide and I'mma take them's there's advice and wear it like a badge of honor. I won't question it or disagree or nothin'. Just gonna do as I'm told and play the game perty near good.

This is our guide to the Council Keleres. I don't know why I wrote all of that the way I did.

252: Can Anyone Be Good? Jun 22, 2022

Show notes

The Galactic Council chose violence this month. It's a question that apparently gets asked from time to time, and it's now OUR TIME to settle the score. Can anyone be good at Twilight Imperium? What does it MEAN to be good at this game (or any game for that matter)? What does it look like to get better at this game?

This one snuck up on us and we almost forgot to celebrate. In fact, it's not even almost, we DID forget to celebrate. But we did take the time to make a sort of beginner's guide to this very podcast. So if you're new to the game or the community, this episode is intended to serve as your gateway into the various depths before you. How deep do you want to dig in? There's something for everyone, even the freaks who liked Twilight Imperium: The Movie!

247: Flagship Tournament 3 May 18, 2022

Show notes

OH NO! There's a new flagship which means we could waste no time in bringing you everyone's favorite digestible audio content: the Flagship Tournament. This year the rules are even more arbitrary and honestly I edit over a lot of it, so just...you just hang in there okay?

Also there is a video of this exact same episode that you may find more consumable. Here it is: https://youtu.be/h2qA5S_EIIM

246: Theorycrafting the Council Keleres May 10, 2022

Show notes

Codex 3: Vigil is finally proven to be real and we were (mostly) not lying! The biggest introduction is the 25th faction to Twilight Imperium, The Council Keleres. So rather than give you an episode overviewing the codex, this topic is big enough to break away and just sit down to theorycraft what we think will be the right moves to make with the Keleres.
