One cold night in December of 1957, a woman was awakened out of her slumber by a bright light. She looked out the window and saw a huge, close object that she believed was a plane going down. However, she soon realized that it wasn’t a plane, and that the object was simply hovering right outside of her window.

We welcome John Gertz to the podcast. John is the former President of the Foundation for Investing in Research on SETI Science and Technology and former Chairman of the Board of the SETI Institute. We discuss his new book, Reinventing SETI: New Directions in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. We discuss the outdated SETI paradigms such as Fermi's Paradox, the Drake Equation, and METI, as John argues that scientists should approach the pursuit of extraterrestrials in a more effective manner. We also discuss what happens when we finally make contact on a global level and so much more.

We welcome back filmmaker, Dean Alioto, to talk all about his brand-new followup documentary, The Alien Perspective: Part II. In this powerful sequel to The Alien Perspective, Dean uncovers new evidence about why aliens may be visiting Earth, from their point of view. Explore how downloads from non-human intelligence shape humanity, and witness tests of possible alien craft material. Ryan and Dean dissect the inevitability of an alien presence always making us question our own humanity and our place in the universe and beyond.

Recent unsubstantiated and unverifiable remarks made by NewsNation reporter and co-host of Need to Know, Ross Coulthart, have sparked quite a bit of controversy in the UFO community. Claiming that the 2004 Nimitz encounter with the Tic Tac UFO was human-made technology developed by Lockheed Martin, it has many people divided, including those who witnessed it on radar and with their own eyes. We talk through the claims, the follow-up claims, and try to make since of this controversial development in what appears to be the age of disinformation.

On November 7th, 2006, United Airlines employees at Chicago O’Hare International Airport witnessed a craft hovering silently above Gate C17. It wasn’t on radar. It didn’t have lights. It didn’t make a sound. And then, with no warning, it shot straight up through the clouds. Employees of the airport were told not to speak about it the press. The FAA denied the incident altogether. That was, until official FAA audio tapes were revealed, and told a story almost too incredible to believe.
