This week, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, a double murder scene looks to have ties to the occult, when "Satan Loves You" is found, written in one of the victim's blood. But detectives quickly begin to think it's less like ritual killings & more like cold blooded executions. Is it satanic maniacs? The married boyfriend of one of the victims? The worm farming, gold chain wearing husband of the other? Maybe her boyfriend? A bicycle may hold all the answers!

Along the way, we find out that country music performers can sometimes look like Gordon Ramsay, that loads of gaudy gold jewelry is an odd thing to wear to farm worms, and that just because something is written in blood, it doesn't make it true!!

#508 - Stopping A Serial Killer - East Providence, Rhode Island Jul 06, 2024

This week, in East Providence, Rhode Island, when one young mother disappears while shopping, it's a real problem. When another nearby woman is slaughtered in her own living room, it becomes a full out panic. When the murderer is figured out, it's not at all what anyone expected. There's a detailed confession, but that might not matter, because of how it was obtained. All we know is, if he wasn't caught, there would have been no end to the horrors that he could have inflicted!!

Along the way, we find out that folk music can be quite varied, you have to really want to get rid of a body, to shove a corpse through 11 inches of ice, and that we could have very easily had another Ted Bundy on our hands!!

This week, in Chuluota, Florida, a successful family nearly crumbles, when the adult son steals from everyone, in order to buy tokens to talk to a Bulgarian webcam model. The whole family tries to help him, but he just won't stop. This leads to a showdown in the home, with the son being kicked out, for good. But by morning there are three dead bodies inside this beautiful rural home, and detectives have to piece it all together!!

Along the way, we find out that the school system is great except for the horny teachers, that nobody is worth $200,000 just to talk to, and that some people may really not have any conscience!!

This week, in Lemmon, South Dakota, a cowboy finds love late in life, with a much younger lady. They divorce, and remarry, but divorce, again. Good news is, he again finds love... with her identical twin sister! This marriage goes as well as with the first twin, and the whole things turns crazy, with everyone, including a new husband, all living together as a family. This unsurprisingly leads to murder, and a plot that is so heartless, it enrages everyone in the area!!

Along the way, we find out that 300 tons is a huge rock, that you shouldn't marry & divorce identical twins, and that just because something looks natural, it doesn't mean that it is!!

It becomes a huge mystery, because family members won't let the teenage children talk to police. Was it the stoner son, who wouldn't join the army, like his dad wanted him to? The seemingly perfect, horse riding daughter? The youngest son, who has been in trouble his whole life?

Along the way, we find out that Burlington Coat Factory is an awful place, and we all go there, that seeing someone toss something off a bridge during a night time thunderstorm might be the creepiest thing, ever, and that once in a while, time will loosen a murderer's defenses!!

In Maricopa, Arizona, a strange & cold blooded murder, heard over a phone call, a very odd alibi, and much stupidity all stem from a dating app match that lead to a romance, that seemed destined for greatness. But cracks soon began to appear, when one one the couple accused the other of cheating, with their own sibling. A break up seemed to be the answer, until a kidnapped dog, and attempted arson got the murder ball rolling!!

Along the way, we find out that Nelly will perform at any festival there is, that biting that causes cuts that need stitches is not a form of affection, and that "borrowing" a newborn baby to fool a DNA test is pretty insane!!

This week, in Ontario, Oregon, a man with a dark past, which included his father killing his mother, seems to be adjusting to the world, then appears to go permanently off the rails. He can't stop getting arrested, or getting married, or having the voice of his dead mother telling him to do things. After kidnapping his wife, and shooting at the police, he gets a new start. Only this start would end in an even darker place, with multiple people dead, in a horrible way!

Along the way, we find out that you have to be a felon to stand the smell of an onion processing plant, that super heroes & super villains have similar origin stories, and that if you can't even decide if you're legally insane, it's not very easy for anyone else to figure it out, either!!

Along the way, we find out that some people pay money to look at goats, that the world record pumpkin is over 2,700 pounds, and that sometimes you think there's no murder, and there's actually a whole bunch of murder!!

He is so full of rage that it seems to just bubble to the surface, and causes a multi day killing spree that he feels is "settling his scores", but leaves a remarkable number of people dead, in awful ways!

Along the way, we find out that local bands probably don't get paid much for festivals, that when you won't let your wife have postage stamps, that's way too controlling, and that sometimes, you get what you want... even if it's death!!

Episode 500!! Citronelle, Alabama! A gruesome scene unfolds in a rundown house, on a rural dirt road. A night of barbecuing with friends, and watching a movie turns into a slaughter, when someone comes back, high on meth, to get what he feels is rightfully his... his ex girlfriend. Axes, and two different guns are used to carry out this butchery of an entire house, with a couple notable exceptions. This ends in a wild escape from certain death for 2 lucky people!!

Along the way, we find out that you should take better care of your tree, if it's the whole history of your town, that if you're fighting in the first month of a relationship, it probably won't work out, and that being a little high doesn't excuse the murders of six people!!
