We discussed the frustration with the school systems for many parents including NON-CUSTODIAL parents. We also discussed what can happen when false allegations are involved and how poorly a parent is treated when the CUSTODIAL parent files the Custody paperwork while influencing and manipulating the the school staff against the NON-CUSTODIAL parent.
Darlene and Dolores gave advice on how to handle all sorts of situations and how parents should know their FERPA rights. Dolores, Darlene and myself gave examples including what really should be done when CPS enters the building and wants to speak to YOUR child. Your child should tell the CPS caseworker that they will not speak to them until they have their own attorney present. Much more advice followed regarding how the school systems and the family court system resembles each other. Not a podcast to be missed.

Elaine Mickman, Author, Speaks Out On The Tyrannical Tactics State And Federal Court Use As The Corruption Continues Sep 27, 2023

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Elaine Mickman, Author of, "Court Gate...The Court$ Divorced From The Law," available on Amazon, FREE in eBook this October 12th - 14th, 2023 and for several days after. Elaine was last on the show on Season 3, Episode 20 and 30.
Elaine updated her case, saying that there is not much movement. However, Elaine gave the history of her case.
The tactics state and federal courts use on litigants such as tampering with the COMPUTER SYSTEM, "quashing" a case without a legitimate reason and dismissing the case, saying they were never "served." We talked about e-filing and that there are many ways that can be tampered with as well. A first level appeal is a RIGHT, promised in the Constitution. Yet they block people. "They do not rule by law in this unjust system," Elaine states. They are trying to predetermine if a person can appeal by a new tactic called "Summary Action." IT NEVER ENDS.
We talked about legislative law. In Pennsylvania, Article 5. 10(c) prohibits Judge's abridging a litigant's rights. The Court has their own rule, 210 PA 63.1 states that the judiciary can't create or diminish rights, yet THEY ARE DOING IT.
Discussing Diane Diamond's book, "We're Here To Help, When Guardianship Goes Wrong." Elaine talked about how they put a Guardians on somebody who is getting divorced and would be getting child support or spousal support or divorce settlement, most of the time exparte happens and they sign away your assets and the person has no rights. Then take the Guardian off, and the person is left destitute, homeless and broke.
There is no oversight for the Supreme Court. HR288 is looking for accountability and oversight in the US Supreme Court. There needs to be an independent agency. You can't have a judge overseeing another judge. They have dismissed 99% of the complaints filed by litigants.
Elaine recommends that if you can avoid the court system do it. If you are able to negotiate with the other party, do it.

Dawn Wolfson, Speaks Out On The Falsely Accused, False Accusations And Why It Is Important To Speak To An Attorney FIRST Sep 24, 2023

Slam the Gavel welcomes Dawn Wolfson to the podcast. Dawn Wolfson was already a follower of the work being done by the Innocence Project when her own family was hit by a FALSE ACCUSATION four years ago. A family member who was about to start his senior year of High School - he was a SPECIAL EDUCATION student - met a girl through a mutual friend. During a sleepover, they had relations, and for reasons the family may NEVER know, she ACCUSED him of rape.
From the start he did everything wrong by trying to contact her online to find out what was going on, apologizing on a text and didn't tell family members until after he was questioned at his school by law enforcement.
This was the beginning of an eye opening 2.5 year journey through the legal system. However the family was one of the lucky ones where they had retirement savings and found a great lawyer who also knew a very motivated investigator. He then tracked down enough witnesses to create doubt on the accuser's story. The DA dropped the charges.
However, shortly after the charges were dropped, Dawn met a man who was involved in NCFM (an organization that is involved in fighting false accusations against men). He had gotten Dawn involved in the NCFM women's group - which had spun off into a new organization of fighting false accusations called Advocates Against the Falsely Accused and another group, D3: Decriminalize Developmental Disabilities (formerly LRIDD) that is fighting for changes to how the legal system treats people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Dawn talked about recent reforms such as California and Illinois law prohibiting DECEPTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERROGATION ON MINORS, and a similar Pennsylvania law prohibiting the same practices on the developmentally disabled. This gives Dawn hope that CHANGE IS POSSIBLE. Dawn sees that the legal system makes it too easy to falsely accuse someone and far too difficult to ESCAPE the legal system.

Stacey Sonnelitter Speaks Out on The Biggest LIE is Judicial "ERROR," And Her CASE Is On The RECORD Sep 23, 2023

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Stacey Sonnelitter to the podcast. She was last on Season 3, Episode 155, and Season 4, Episode 13. Stacey discussed going before the New York State Appellate Division, 4th Department for Oral Argument and what that entailed. The appeal was a dismissal for an application for a temporary order of protection and custody.
Stacey explained in her argument where she stated that she has been a Physician Assistant for the last 25 years and recently became a Certified Paralegal through the local college. The reason that she became a paralegal was that she would be taken seriously in the courtroom and for her own kids and other peoples kids that need her help. Stacey appeared before the Appellate Court in her children's honor because they need their Mom to do this for their safety. However, Stacey was told by the Judge to get to the, "meat and potatoes of the case."
BUT DID THEY LOOK AT STACEY'S EVIDENCE?? Stacey also did a data-download dump in her record of ALL evidence of child abuse. Stacey described how her children were abused, and how many individuals reported the abuse and how her children want to live with their Mother due to their reporting this ABUSE as well. Her ex also was indicated FOUR times by a neighboring CPS, however, they acted LIKE IT DIDN'T EXIST. It's in the records BUT THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
Stacey now has to wait on the outcome. One of the points that they made in her appeal, is this is a finding by the Federal Government, "within reach," which is a National Strategy geared at reducing preventable child deaths from abuse and neglect. With the findings of their research and publications, is the number one factor that gives an idea of risk of future child death, from abuse or neglect: is calls placed to CPS hotline regardless of the disposition. If there is a litany of calls to CPS on somebody, that is a number one predictor of a future child death or fatality from abuse and neglect. Her ex has FOUR indications. Stacey is able to prove imminent danger due to the four indications and where her children disclosed sexual abuse and strangulation in their past.
Stacey was DENIED an evidentiary hearing on both of those applications. Had they done the right thing from the beginning, they wouldn't be wearing egg on their faces.
The most important part of the case is when it starts in the BEGINNING. Unfortunately, that is when parents are most vulnerable and that's when they do things as swiftly as possible before they even know what happened. "If you can get someone to do the right things at the beginning of the case from the first step you'll be a lot better" Stacey explains. In Stacy's case there was conflict of interest.

Mark And Terri Stemann, Founders Of Let Our Children Go. Org Give New Updates On Their Case, The Breakdown Of Parental Authority And The Dereliction Of Duty Sep 21, 2023

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Terri and Mark Stemann to the podcast. They were last on the podcast Season 4, Episodes 47, 70 and 97. Their seven children were kidnapped from them in 2016 under the Color of Law and they have been holding their children hostage. Now they have been in this for 7.5 years.
However, they have discovered a CHILD TRAFFICKING ring operating within Jefferson County, Louisville, KY and they have thousands of pages of evidence to show the picture to prove it. They pursued an avenue for justice and remedy through all state and federal law enforcement agencies and yet they have been denied and turned away.
Mark and Terri had been actively seeking an attorney all across the country who could help them in filing a suit and they were getting a lot reasons why they couldn't help them from the immunity reasons which are unlawful; there is a federal law and constitution that prohibits immunity as it is a right as WE THE PEOPLE possess, and a variety of other reasons.
Finally Mark and Terri NOW have broken through and have been able to connect with an attorney that will look into their case and have an opportunity to pursue a FEDERAL ACTION that may potentially benefit not only themselves but will set presidency to bring RELIEF to other people. There are still a lot of obstacles they will face. BUT IT IS A SIGN OF HOPE.
They are still unable to connect with their three oldest children as they are unresponsive and the youngest three are still held hostage by the criminals that facilitated the scheme. Mark and Terri have good news as they have connected with their son. They are encouraged, as he still REMEMBERS his upbringing and their joyful and happy home. As reached the point of aging, he was able to escape the environment in which he and his sibling were being abused.
We discussed the psychological warfare that is taking place within CPS and Foster Care and how children are brainwashed. The disregard for PARENTAL AUTHORITY and how that AFFECTS the child and the TAXPAYERS are unknowingly FUNDING IT.
We don't know what our children are being exposed to.

We had a great discussion on Laurie's two new webinars, 4F's that are F'ing up your day and 4 point Path to Possibility; Uncovery (posted below in podcast notes.). Laurie also discussed her new book that will be coming out tomorrow September 19th, 2023, "Navigating The Storm Within: Cultivating Resilience and Growth through Nervous System Regulation."
Laurie teaches empowerment, especially for those who have been victimized again by the court system it's a re-traumatization. We discussed the book, "Truth and Repair: How Trauma Survivors Envision Justice." It talks a lot about the repair and part of the repair is to be seen and heard. The cases are so surreal and unbelievable you can't comprehend unless you have been through something similar. If there is healing available it's not going to be how you think it is.
We also discussed my new book, Raised By These Wolves, How Family And Federal Courts Are Failing Our Children. The documentation of parents and their stories in a way is a form of justice. "We have been taught that the justice system is a safe place for people who have been harmed and that is a hard myth to break," Laurie states.
This has nothing to do with justice, it is has to do with a winner and a loser. It is not set up to repair. The courts are running cases in 30 minutes or less. We discussed the history of the courts and what the intention and the purpose is it becomes clearer how more of us are victimized over and over again. We also discussed the book, "The End of Family Court: How Abolishing the Court Brings Justice To Children And Families."
Where is the justice? "Most of us are victims before we get to the court. As a victim to have the understanding that this isn't about me being seen or of not being heard, this is about what is best for the system and the judge and this has nothing to do with what's right for my kid or not. Because we didn't set it up that way. Until we know this we will blame ourselves or feel helpless," Laurie states.

Felix Leo Campos Discusses Oversight And Accountability In Family Court And Networking With Podcast Guests Sep 15, 2023

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Felix Leo Campos to the podcast. He was last on Slam the Gavel Season 4, Episode 114, where we discussed how oversight and accountability is much needed in Family Court, CPS and the devastation of false allegations.
Felix gave his thoughts on the last podcast with guest Sabrina Berry and how networking is so important to connect with like-minded individuals, advocates and organizers.
There are a lot of concerned people, that are representative of a body of people generally family members that have been adversely affected by divorce court, family court, CPS and the Child Support collection enforcement unit. Felix states that, "the individuals on this podcast represent a body of people that are addressing these issues and are looking for solutions that actually live up to the height of being in the "best interest of the children," and not the institution that is in place currently."
Perhaps the "public," is uninvolved because it's not in direct relationship to them, but they have heard the stories of others and they know someone in their circle that is or has been in 'family court.' "There is an awareness," Felix states, "but it's a low hum, it's like a 'white noise,' that you can just dismiss until it involves the person themselves and they fall into it and THEN it becomes a lot of yelling and they start to realize they are being manipulated."
We discussed the value of court- watching. It is HIGHLY important to follow-up AND follow through, after court watching, by filing complaints when needed on judges and attorneys. THEY ARE BEING WATCHED and there has to be caution on their part and the importance of CAMERAS IN THE COURTROOMS. People need to make their complaints BECAUSE IT'S SO IMPORTANT. It is so important to be a support for others, even though your case is over.
Patterns of behavior are very similar in family court in comparison to other courts such as in the film Erin Brockovich and Dark Waters. Experts were saying, "that the impact on the environment are minimal." Such as it is in the family courts even though children and families are suffering, having heart attacks and committing suicide. It is difficult to hold those accountable.

Kelly Patton And Lee Speak Out: BEWARE Of Wichita, Kansas And Don't Leave Your Kids Unattended Sep 13, 2023

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Kelly Patton to the podcast. Kelly was last on Season 4, Episodes 124 and 146. Kelly came on to the podcast with Lee to discuss an ongoing case in Wichita, Kansas since 2019. As soon as Lee contacted Kelly about a child abuse case, Kelly started documenting. It all started when the child was two and living in a beautiful home and child support had to be paid.
The case is multifaceted and intertwined with collusion and corruption involving Lee's grandchild. Lee has not seen her grandchild in five years based on a frivolous report of child abuse. This report has landed the grandmother to be placed on the child abuse registry in order to alienate her from her grandchild. Kelly explained that they tried to have Lee go before an expungement review however, the same social worker that even physically abused Lee was handling the review, under a different name. There is no end to the collusion and conflict of interest.
Lee's husband is not in good health and they have gone through their entire savings account to try to get their grandchild back. Even a GAL in court recommended that the child be returned, however a rogue social worker didn't want to hear that, and found another GAL to go along with the false narrative. Lee's attorney fought hard to get the child back and for that, "they" threatened to take the attorney's license away . . . and did. There is no attorney in Wichita that will touch this case. Lee talked about a horrific smear campaign that followed along with harassment. With the experience that Kelly has she explains, "you can predict what these people will do." Amy Palacios And Sabrina Berry Speak Out On The Misuse And Abuse Of, "Same Day Attorney Rule," In Mecklenburg, NC: The ABUSE Is REAL Sep 10, 2023

Amy Palacios gave updates to her case and how Jay White was confused that his dismissal was dismissed. Amy introduced her friend, advocate and court watcher, Sabrina Berry.

Updating her case as well, Sabrina discussed being handcuffed in the courtroom and called out that it was unconstitutional. The handcuffs were off in no time. Unfortunately there is a "one day attorney rule," in Mecklenburg County, NC where an attorney has no time to prepare to help a litigant and is forced to continue the proceedings even after asking for a continuance. Sabrina said that the attorney was on the spot given only five minutes to prepare for her case. Sabrina explained that this is a waste of TAXPAYER DOLLARS. However, Sabrina stated that she will not be silent.

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Tim Goldich, an author who was last on the podcast Season Four, Episodes: 32, 58, 80 and 120. Tim Goldich has devoted the last thirty years to researching, pondering, and writing a four-book series on gender issues. The first book—Loving Men, Respecting Women: The Future of Gender Politics—was published in 2011 and is available on Amazon.com. The second book—Equal Partners: The History of Gender Equality—is due out in 2023. He has also created a series of YouTube videos under the umbrella title of “Man Against the Wall.”
We had an excellent discussion on false accusations and how they have a lethal and devastating impact on people's lives. Tim talked about the rally he was at yesterday 9-8-2023 with Lori Debolt to bring awareness to false accusations and discussed her story of her son. Trauma all around, as her son is imprisoned although there is plenty of evidence saying otherwise, but the evidence is inadmissible. Tim also talked about how that there was an idea in the past of having a REGISTRY OF FALSE ACCUSERS.
There are things happening in Spain as well regarding allegations as we discussed the "World Cup Kiss," and what this means to coach Luis Rubiales and Jennifer Hermoso.
