Slam the Gavel welcomes Mr. Rick Henry to the podcast. For years he has been suffering under the rulings of Judge Lauren A. Ogden.
Rick Henry has had custody of his daughter for the last three years. The ex and mother of his child, already has two other children she does not have custody of. Mother has since developed a pattern of picking out violent men. One of them shot her then fourteen year-old daughter in the hand. Mother told her daughter to tell authorities that she, "fell off her bike," to cover for the boyfriend. There has been four violent gun incidents at mother's home in the last three years. CPS notified Rick Henry FOUR DAYS LATER of his daughter's shooting. This is when he obtained custody of his daughter "with stipulations." CPS refused to give Rick Henry a medical card to help pay for child psychologist's rate of $250.00/per hour and other costs such as forcing father to undergo drug testing for the last 3-4 years.
Judge Lauren A. Ogden entered the picture and all is on video on TikTok @rickhenry43. She speaks down to him as he is in grade school, allows opposing counsel to constantly interrupt and refuses to look at SOLID EVIDENCE. Calling the shooting: "that happened in the past." Over an alleged runaway incident that never happened, she gave the now 16 year-old to the maternal grandparents. The child now sees her mother.

Hogan v. Cherokee County, North Carolina And The Bigger Social Problem; With Jay Rosenthal Jun 04, 2024

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Jay Rosenthal to the podcast. Jay was last on the podcast Season 3, Episode 87 and Season 4, Episode 73. Today we discussed the case of Hogan v. Cherokee County, NC and the sequence of events that unfolded in the case. The father had placed the child with a neighbor he trusted, while his spouse was having heart issues. Apparently someone made the call to DSS in Cherokee County, NC and the urged the father to place the child with family members - but he didn't know what he was signing due to illiteracy. Conveniently, DSS closed the case.
We discussed the litigation and how the suit was filed afterwards. Mr. Hogan did make efforts to see his child and had to go to court to invalidate the Custody Visitation Agreement (CVA - a permanent placement with some visitation). NC DSS got involved, because the report was made by the school, DSS had concerns child was placed with neighbor. Then the CVA was signed. One year later this was brought to court to invalidate and to reunify. Then the lawsuit was filed.
The kids are the most important thing to a parent, but not to DSS. This was a very egregious act of DSS with disregard for the father, Mr. Hogan as Jay read what he had said, "They made me feel like I was worthless and I was no good. That I just didn't care about her and I did with all my heart, my baby is my everything. I tried to do everything the right way, the way they asked me to. I couldn't gain no ground and I couldn't get above water." Any parent going through this would feel like Mr. Hogan. There is a reason why Terminating Parental Rights is the DEATH PENALTY of CHILD WELFARE.

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Tamara Sweeney from the South Pacific, Tuomutos. Tamara was last on the podcast Season 4, Episode 101 where she spoke out on her journey of sailing around the world to bring awareness to Parental Alienation, CPS corruption and abuse.
Explaining how the court system has normalized the tactics of Parental Alienation. "If you answer to the courts, then they have jurisdiction over you," Tamara explains, “This is Spiritual Warfare.” Tamara went on to say that we are born into slavery and people need to come together and talked about the Tuomutos culture and the traditions there.
Tamara encourages everyone to do their due diligence on advocates, the laws and family courts. “Heaven’s court is the important court,” states Tamara.

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Robert Tanguay. Robert was last on the podcast Season 5, Episode 27 on 11-15-2023. On the last podcast we talked about what can happen when the lust for power within the judiciary takes place.
We discussed problems and the solutions involving the family court system. Issue is that lawyers don't rat on judges and judges don't rat on lawyers. We talked about why we don't need lawyers as well.

Discussing when a parent goes Pro Se and what that entails and costs. The corruption comes in to play within the case which can involve collusion, conflict of interest and bias.

Slam the gavel welcomes back Jennifer Hankins Lundy to the podcast. Jennifer was last on Season 4, Episode 131. When we spoke last, Jennifer discussed what it takes for judicial accountability to happen.
For the last week, Jennifer Lundy was attending the State Convention, which ended yesterday. Jennifer hopes if everything passes as they obtained their Rule 44 changed to include judges and their ability to censure ( the ability to express severe disapproval of someone in a formal statement). This is huge! Judicial Accountability was put out as Priority Number seven. Jennifer spent three days working on these priorities. It is a pending an election count. As a party they will pick eight priorities, however there are 15 to choose from. Other states are watching such as NY and OK. If Texas can get this going it is going to help the entire U.S.
The judiciary must be transparent and publish online complaints. 27,000 complaints in the last 20 years and they only published 416. They want them all published. Video and audio in all courts as well. We also discussed Robert Garza's Senate Bill Time Taken Time Back.
Several of the justices are behind them and they got three new judges in their Criminal Court of Appeals and they are behind what Jennifer is doing.

The Level Of Racism In Illinois When A Grandmother Honks Her Car Horn And Is Pulled Over By Police; With Kia Walker May 27, 2024

Slam the Gavel podcast welcomes back Kia Waker. Kia was last on the podcast Season 5, Episode 77. Kia, lives in Rockland Illinois and has film footage on her TikTok - @grandmakia8716 of being pulled over for honking her horn at a police car from Winnebago County, Illinois. Kia said that they wanted to, 'steal her phone,' and that her 'fork was a weapon' as well. Kia repeated back to them what they said. She was trying to find her insurance card. After being yanked out of her vehicle they took her phone immediately. Officer Pozzi repeatedly stated, "I'm going to beat you and drag you." Kia was held for 14 hours shackled at ankles and wrists. Later Kia was fined $700.00 in which $350.00 was reimbursed at a hearing in the morning. Kia spoke up in court after the clerk read off the charges but not the one that had been listed, that she was charged for "Improper Use of a Horn."
Kia Walker explains how this abuse unfolded and how it has affected her life and explained that she should have asked for names and badge numbers. Kia is looking for a Civil Rights attorney, Pro Bono, to get the body cam footage that shows Officer Luciano Pozzi stating, "I'm going to beat and drag you." According to Universe Website Builder, Pozzi, a Rockland Police officer was involved in the beating of protestors on May 30th, 2020. Updates to follow.

UK Holds US Child Hostage From His Father, Ignoring Hague Convention For Years; With David Bond May 20, 2024

Slam the Gavel welcomes David Bond to the podcast. The Hague convention ignored in David Bond's case involving his son who is now in the hands of UK foster care for the last three years.

David Bond filed a paternity/custody case in June 2020. The day before paternity was finally granted in March 2021, mother fled the United States with his son. David warned the Court that this would happen early in the case, as the mother had been openly threatening to leave the country for months. Child services had assured David that "the mother promised not to leave the country" and they took her word for it. All EVIDENCE ignored.
An emergency order for Sole Custody and Right of Assistance was promptly granted in August 2021 and has since been re-certified in June 2023.
In September 2021 the U.S. Embassy in London had notified the LAPD that David's child was in interim foster care in the UK. His mother had been starving him, a burn was found on his leg, and his teeth were decayed and broken. David then filed a Hague application under the guidance of the U.S. State Department, for his prompt return.
Instead, High Court Justice Lieven ordered that contact be resumed between his son and his mother in September 2022, resulting in a predictable re-abduction attempt in which she assaulted both the social worker and supervisor in the process. This incident was fully captured on security cameras.
This violent abduction attempt happened after she'd hired someone to kill David in January 2022, was diagnosed with psychosis in March 2022, and had already tried to re-abduct him once in April 2022. Coventry then ruled out a return to either biological parent, instead granting full custody to his maternal Aunt in Florida.
