Slam the Gavel welcomes back Kim Korven to the podcast. Kim was last on Season 5, Episode 200 on December 15, 2024. Today we discussed domestic violence and the subtleties of coercive control and how it is all overlooked. We talked about the history of when a woman could have her own charge card.
The ACE's Scores were discussed and how children do better going through a divorce without conflict, instead of being dragged through family court for years. Divorce can be adversarial, but it was brought into Civil Law for property disputes. Emotions of the parent are the emotions of the kids. Does ADHD have a correlation of kids going through a stressful divorce? Is it divorce or is it conflict?

Slam the Gavel welcomes Ben Vonderheide, AKA, "Daddy Justice," to the podcast. Ben is an independent film producer. The majority of his 65 years were spent as a business owner, from concert production to wholesale distribution, children's character/entertainment/product development and property renovations. But the past 22 years have been dramatically divergent.
After being falsely accused numerous times, Ben was eventually vindicated - but only after years of investigating and representing himself Pro Se in court. Having developed a special skill set, Ben then devoted his life to helping others who have been falsely accused and becoming an expert in targeting and exposing corrupt judges, police, lawyers, government officials and more. The Weaponization of Family Court Dysfunction: With Hector Araujo Jan 17, 2025

Slam the Gavel welcomes Hector Araujo from Staunton, Virginia to the podcast. Hector discussed his family court issues in dealing with a JDR Judge Susan B. Read, 25th Judicial District in Virginia. Hector's case involves false accusations, Custodial Interference and jail time.
Judge Susan B. Read just gives his ex-wife a slap on the wrists for withholding the kids from him. The ex-wifes boyfriend had been physically abusing the children as well. Apparently, the grandmother who has involvement with CPS has influence in the court procedure. She persuaded the judge to put Hector in a bad light. However, the judge found mother's boyfriend GUILTY but ALLOWED him to STILL STAY IN THE HOME, BUT NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE CONTACT WITH THE CHILDREN. How does that work IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILDREN??
Hector has spent 11 months incarcerated for non-support while his arrears mounted to $12,000.00. Due to the stress of family court, Hector has also suffered multiple strokes and has had a pacemaker placed in his chest. His children have been turned against him. There is no justice in Staunton Virginia, especially when dealing with a judge like this. Hector has an appeal sitting in the court and two Show Causes for the mother not giving him the kids on his visiting time.

Poor People Can't Get Justice; With Wren Byrd Jan 14, 2025

Slam the Gavel welcomes Wren Byrd from California to the podcast. Wren talked about her path through the corrupt family court with a biased judge, Judge James Bertoli who laughed at her and mocked her in court. Apparently, Judge James Bertoli also has a band where clerks participate in called, "Courtn' Disaster." He has left the bench to pursue his dreams of becoming a musician. The legal abuse and domestic violence has caused Wren to have extreme multiple hospitalizations for a stomach ulcer and Lupus.
The legal abuse was non-stop, the judge and opposing Attorney Robert Montgomery, as well as Veronica Pineda, LMSW effectively turned her son against her while the father controlled the school districts and Wren explained how her ex routinely collects child support out of her disability. That's the lowest he could go....Or is it?

Today we discussed Kenneth's new book, "CHILD PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE, The essential Guide to Stopping Parental Alienation In Its Tracks! A step-by-step strategy for parents and lawyers to end child psychological abuse and fight back against family court corruption."
We discussed the usage of the term PA and that it is truly, and should be called, Child Psychological Abuse. We also discussed the pitfalls of Kayden's law and what a "shared persecutory delusion" is and a "false factitious belief..." Custodial Interference and Child Psychological abuse go hand in hand and should be taken seriously by law enforcement and Kenneth offered suggestions on how this can be done.

Child Support Extortion Continues: With Marineka Bowman Jan 07, 2025

Slam the Gavel welcomes Marineka Bowman to the podcast. Marineka was last on Season 3, Episodes 104, 131, 159, 160, 174 and 184, Season 4, Episodes 22, 48 and 61, Season 5, Episode 149.
Last time Marineka was on the podcast we discussed Judicial Harassment, Neglect, Abuse and the Child Support Law in Delaware.
Today we updated Marineka's case where Delaware Judge Natalie Haskins STILL is not going by the Child Support Law in Delaware and the opposing Attorney Laura Brooks has stepped down. The new opposing Attorney is Constance Dorsney.
Apparently, her ex voluntarily stopped working for one year and is still demanding child support without providing W-2. Also, her child is on Medicare, while forcing Marineka to provide Medical care and the conference officer, Jessica Martin just sits back and allows this.
Marineka only gets to see her daughter once a week on Sundays, when the father hasn't been in the child's life for four years. Now, Marineka is paying child support to her ex, via Judge Natalie Haskins (who also constantly denies Marineka's requests for ROCO), so he can use Marineka's money to provide for his whole new family. Not only is Child Support WEAPONIZED, so is the child.

Storms are not permanent and that there will be regrowth and that a person can survive whatever is coming. Talking about surviving and suffering while wanting to fix a situation immediately and that a person has a right and responsibility to survive this life. Not a podcast to be missed.

Order Of Protection Never Worked; With Bouchra Hamidi Jan 05, 2025

Slam the Gavel welcomes Bouchra Hamidi to the podcast. Bouchra came to the United States in 2007, searching for a better life and new opportunities. She married in 2009, and soon after, her two beautiful children were born; her son in 2010 and her daughter in 2012. However, what she thought would be a happy family life quickly turned into a nightmare. Bouchra's marriage was filled with years of domestic violence, and she finally made the difficult decision to protect herself and her children by turning to the family court system in 2016.
What Bouchra thought would be an escape from abuse turned into a new kind of nightmare—JUDICIAL ABUSE. From family court to the Integrated Domestic Violence (IDV) Court and even the Appellate Division, she has faced endless corruption, bias, and failures that have denied her justice and put her children at risk. Instead of finding safety and protection, Bouchra and her children have been subjected to a system that seems to punish them further, while ENABLING THE ABUSER.
Now, after years of fighting, Bouchra still hasn’t found justice. The pain and suffering her children and she have endured STILL continue, but Bouchra refuses to give up. Bouchra is here today to share her story to expose the systemic failures of the family court and to stand as a voice for other mothers and children who are suffering in silence.

Slam the Gavel welcomes Andrea Brewer to the podcast. Andrea was last on Season 3, Episode 191 on December 30. 2022. On the last podcast, we discussed being,"Railroaded and Court Trafficked with Fraud in Family Court and Child Support Extortion."
Today, we updated the extensive fraud upon the court that had happened in her case involving several attorneys, GAL and two judges that destroyed her relationships with her children. Judges and attorneys do not respect Pro Se litigants because they do not bring in the revenue and the Virginia Lawyer Referral is supposed to help people yet do not have the initiative to fight for families. Where is the remedy for families and children who need both parents involved?
