Panic at the Dojo 2 - Every Hit Point Matters on the Highway Nov 07, 2016

Show notes

Six Feats Under presents Panic at the Dojo, now funding on Kickstarter!
Music by Thylacinus

Secret vampire Truth Crimson (Clove), parkour courier Redd Shoes (QuantumFizz), angry nun Tajra Green (superherofae), and local super hero Tigre Blanco (Drakkel) are fighting for their lives on the highway! Ambushed by ninjas, bikers, and a helicopter, they're about to cause one heck of a traffic jam defending themselves from being thrown down to the concrete racing away beneath them.

This session was recorded using an older version of the preview adventure, and some rules and abilities have changed. Most notably, in the previous version, a bunch of characters had abilities that activated during other peoples' turns, and we constantly forgot about them. They were removed, both because of the forgetting and to speed up gameplay.

This session is also available on youtube! Experience the game how it was meant to be - with a map to show you exactly where everyone was at the moment it all went wrong.

13th Age 87-2: They Who Stake Their Claim Fall Nov 06, 2016

Show notes

The disasters of the Fourfold Apocalypse, born of strain and hatred hidden beneath the yoke of a peaceful Empire, comes to a close with the clash of hateful wills; each combatant is here for power and control. So, what separates them? What's good and evil? What is right? Perhaps we'll never know. Regardless of the outcome, there is yet more work to chain the world once more.

13th Age 87-1: Upon the Edge of the Abyss Oct 31, 2016

Show notes

Just as the Great Gold Wyrm rose above the depths of the Abyss to bring hope to the world of the Fourfold Apocalypse, the Lord of Devils and a harrowing entourage of corrupted warriors strikes. A pathetic band of misfits, bandits, pretenders of their crowns, and monsters is the last obstacle in the way of snuffing out the Wyrm's golden light forever.

Music by Thylacinus
Secret vampire Truth Crimson (Clove), parkour courier Redd Shoes (QuantumFizz), and angry nun Tajra Green (superherofae) all missed rent this month, and the mob is here to collect. Tigre Blanco, local super hero (Drakkel), actually did pay her rent, but finds her car a victim of their path for cash. Can the crew stop Pompadour Rex, star general of the Black Fire Gang, from destroying all of their stuff?

In addition, if you are reading this the very day it went up, Team Frog Nugget (lead by today's superherofae and QuantumFizz) are doing a 24 hour charity stream right over here! Check that out, asap.

Bluebeard's Bride Chat: Horror In Tabletop Games Oct 24, 2016

Show notes

There is no game session to accompany this podchat.
Bluebeard's Bride is a game about investigative horror by Whitney “Strix” Beltrán, Marissa Kelly, and Sarah Richardson.
Grant and Sarah Richardson sit down to talk about horror in gaming, and how it differs from horror in any other medium you might care to name. Unlike movies or books, the personal element of actually playing in horror requires a lot more personal engagement, and Grant and Sarah go over just how to do that in this podchat.

13th Age 86 Tabletalk: Fourfold Apocalypse Q&A Oct 18, 2016

Show notes

This tabletalk contains a dash of ending spoilers once we're done discussing some questions about the state of the world as we've returned to it! Woweee, what can't Cootsen secretly turn out to be?!
Tabletalk takes place before, during, and after our sessions. It's lightly edited and perfect for casual listening-- get an idea of just what we were thinking when we did all that nonsense!

The Elements visit Eridu, and are devastated by what the find. However, there is no more time for grief or regrets; the time has come for the great Ritual that must save the age-- it simply must, or else this year of toil and despair will all have been for naught. 13th Age 85 Tabletalk: Alternate Ending Oct 06, 2016

Show notes

Even if you don't normally listen to tabletalk, I highly recommend 34:40 and onward for a lovely scene between Bella and Nav. You see, I, Ikks, made a big mistake in a future session that causes a TIME PARADOX with this ending, so I couldn't use it!

13th Age 85: The House Always Wins Oct 06, 2016

Show notes

At last, the team returns to terra firma-- but it is far from a safe haven. As the Battlevan glides over the now-frozen Red Wastes, the harried party struggles to recover and reflect upon their recent experience. The moment is short as the ice below crumbles and a horribly familiar thing emerges. Maybe imprisonin' th' tarrasque in Mammon's hellhole wasn' th' brightest idea, hey, ya pack a' no-good mooks!
Three sessions remain.
