Love Is Blind UK Season 3 Is WAY Better Than the US Sep 29, 2026

Show notes

Pod Squad, get ready to head back to the pods! In this episode, Shelby and Laura are breaking down Love Is Blind UK Season 3! From the pods to the altar and the reunion, we’re spilling all the tea on the couples, villains, love triangles, and jaw-dropping twists that had us screaming at the screen.

First up, we’re comparing Vanessa and Nick Lachey vs. Emma and Matt Willis as Love Is Blind hosts and debating why the UK version of reality shows always seems to hit differently than the US versions.

Then, we get into the season’s biggest shock: all four final couples got married — and were still together one year later at the reunion! Is Love Is Blind UK officially doing something right that the US version can’t figure out?

Of course, no Love Is Blind recap would be complete without talking about the villains. Shelby and Laura discuss Jack and Ciara, including our absolute shock that their partners, Faye and Ajay, still said “I do” after everything that happened.

We’re also dissecting the Francesca, Chevanique, and Joseph love triangle — because somehow things kept getting messier — and discussing why Cuba and Yasmin deserved better.

Were you surprised that all four final couples were still together? Who was the biggest villain of the season? Did Faye and Ajay make the right decision? And are you Team Francesca, Chevanique, or Joseph? Let us know what you think!

Meg Stalter is a Star in 'Oh, Mary!' on Broadway Sep 17, 2026

Show notes

We saw the Prettiest Girl in America on Broadway!

In this episode, Shelby and Laura review Cole Escola's Tony-winning play, Oh, Mary! The hit is a dark comedy about "a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln's assassination." We got to see Meg Stalter star as Mary in her limited run this summer. We've been fans of Meg since her role on Hacks as Kayla, so had to go support.

We dissect the plays ambitious premise, highlight the various stars to play Mary from Maya Rudolph to Jinkx Monsoon to Bowen Yang, celebrate the diversity and creativity of the story, and note why it was great to see Meg Stalter in a leading role. Plus, we dive into a bit of Emmys 2026 fashion and wins!

One Night Only Review: Does the No-Premarital-Sex Premise Actually Make Sense? Sep 01, 2026

Show notes

In this episode, Shelby and Laura review One Night Only, the new RomCom directed by Will Gluck and starring Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro. We dissect the film’s ambitious no-premarital-sex premise and whether the characters’ whirlwind journey through New York City actually makes sense.

We also talk about why we loved that Owen and Allie have such unique jobs, how refreshing it is to see an original RomCom in theaters, and why we appreciated the movie’s big swings—even if the world-building and execution didn’t always land perfectly. Plus, we share our thoughts on the stars’ chemistry and hijinks and, of course, discuss why we are absolutely obsessed with Callum Turner’s real-life relationship with pop star Dua Lipa!
