We also get Mykelti falling off a horse, Madi being real obnoxious about it, and Paedon being...well...Paedon. Oh, and Robyn overreacting. Shocking.

It's the beginning of season 2 and the Browns have gone public! Kody and the wives are living it up in NYC making a full circuit of the news networks to announce their plural marriage. The kids are going to public school for the first time so Christine gives Aspyn a VERY early 2000s ringlet curls/flat-ironed bangs situation. Also, they go ice blocking, which seems insane since they'll have snow in a few months but what do we know? Oh! And the paparazzi decides to stake out the Brown big-house and scare the life out of us by walking within inches of Christine's basement window.

11 days!! That's how long Kody and Robyn's honeymoon is and if you didn't already know, you'll hear the other wives say it about 3,482 times this episode! We're finishing up Sister Wives season one with the Honeymoon Special. In one of the finest displays of shady editing we've ever seen, the honeymoon is juxtaposed nicely with the stress of containing the chaos that is the Brown family. Poor Meri, Janelle, and Christine get to wrangle umpteen children to a (gorgeous) park picnic, while Kody and Robyn discuss the polygamist tendencies of the animal kingdom ad nauseam. But do not fear, we are also treated to a top-naked flex fest by Kody, the cutest picture of Truely to ever exist, and a truly (see what I did there) harrowing moment when Paedon goes full rage on Aurora for taking his seat. And all of this happened in, you guessed it, 11 days!!

Also, we side bar into a story about the time Lauren met a murderer at a wedding convention. Anywho, Janelle continues to be the only voice of reason, Meri makes uncomfortable jokes, and Christine annoys us to no end.

It has bat boxes, elbow length beards, tent sex we (unfortunately) get to watch, Jason Momoa's little brother, a man pooping on a toilet seat in his front yard...it truly has everything, including a few things no one asked for. If you aren't watching this train wreck on Discovery+, you should be! Either way, listen to us laugh about the first three episodes while we wait for next week's new Sister Wives.
