We break down the series split with the Twins and look ahead to the Blue Jays series where it looks like we'll be without some key players. Pete and Jared are baffled by the reaction of some fans at Fenway to Rich Hill struggling during his outing on Marathon Monday. Jared was back in the clubhouse over the weekend and shared a long hug with Xander during which he told him the Red Sox need to re-sign him. Pat Light has a HUGE offer from the Savannah Bananas and isn't taking it seriously so the guys try to convince him that this could be a major turning point in his baseball career. We also discuss Mazz being on the broadcast and the perspective he brings to the booth. Pat also shares some stories about his days in the minors including making sandwiches for Christian Vázquez. Jared Carrabis, Pete Blackburn, Pat Light and Tyler Milliken are your new hosts of that podcast that everyone knows the name of but we can’t really say it so we’ll keep using placeholder names until people decide to stop being assholes. Jared kicks off the first episode *cough* (455th episode) *cough* by introducing Pat as a returning host, Pete as a returning OG host and Tyler as a brand new host. The discussion quickly shifts to Pat not wishing Jared a happy birthday after Jared posted a heartfelt message for Pat’s birthday mere days ago. The guys then talk some Sox; figuring out what clubhouse traditions we should be bringing back from last year, breaking down the situations with Devers and Bogaerts, grading offseason moves by Chaim, and getting ready for Opening Day. We talk about how TikTok is making people stupid and Jared is all for it, which also leads to another potential placeholder name, “SoxTok.” It’s good to have the podcast back, it’s good to have baseball back, and it’s just good to be back.
