    She’s Talkin’ Money

You make good money. You save. You contribute to retirement. On paper, you are doing well. So why do you still feel unsure whether you are making the right decisions with your money?

She’s Talkin’ Money is the personal finance podcast for women who have outgrown basic budgeting advice and want more clarity about what comes next.

Hosted by financial planner and money expert Shari Rash, the show helps you understand how to put your money to work through smarter investing, retirement planning, saving, tax strategy, and intentional spending.

You will also hear honest conversations about the emotional side of money: fear, guilt, comparison, financial independence, over-saving, and why earning more does not always make you feel more secure.

Expect practical solo episodes, expert conversations, and real money questions designed to help you stop second-guessing yourself and start making financial decisions with more confidence.

Because doing well on paper should feel good in real life, too.

Previously known as Everyone’s Talkin’ Money.

How to Talk to Kids About Money (with Gregg Murset) Sep 27, 2019
    Show notes

Do you remember who talked to you about money?

For most of us, the answer to that question is no one, really. In fact, a recent study by Quicken revealed that one-third of adults said no one taught them about money when they were a child and in turn, are twice as likely to delay talking to their own children about money until they are 18 or older.

Frustrated by this, Gregg Murset, CEO of BusyKid, decided to find a better way to talk to kids about money. Using technology, Gregg created My Job Chart, the first electronic chore/allowance platform to take advantage of our modern digital society. I so wish I had this as a kid!

    What You'll Learn

    • Practical ways to talk to your kids, or anyone's kids, about money
    • How to use technology to change the conversation and impact with kids
    • Money wisdom Gregg has learned from talking to his 6 kids about money
    • Why Gregg thinks we all need to pay attention to financial literacy
    • How to turn chores and an allowance into a savings account and stock investing

Unlock Healing with Reiki (with Shannon Marzella) Sep 10, 2019
    Show notes

We tend to talk about money in a very pragmatic way - do these seven steps, save this much, don't do this, make sure you have a budget, etc. All good tips, but there's something else. For most of us, we know what we should do, but life gets in the way. These blockages can build up over time and stop us from achieving our goals.

Reiki is a technique I started using last year to help clear blockages so I could achieve goals. On this episode, we're dishing all you need to know about Reiki with Shannon Marzella, who is an intuitive and Reiki energy healer.

    What You'll Learn

    • What is Reiki and how can it help you with your finances
    • What happens to you in a Reiki session
    • What causes us all to create blockages to achieving goals
    • A few takeaways from my Reiki session with Shannon
    • Why alternative healing might be the missing piece in your life - and why it is not as scary as it sounds
