062 | Declarations To Proclaim Over Your Business Sep 29, 2026
    Show notes

In today's episode, I'm stepping down from the soapbox and taking a more grounded approach to what it looks like to speak life, faith, and prosperity over your business. In whichever season of life that you're in, weather building, growing, navigating a challenging season, or simply trying to find clarity in what comes next, you need to hear this.

I'm sharing a collection of business declarations inspired by the closing prayers in a close friend's book. These declarations encouraged me, and I hope they encourage you too. We'll speak over a variety of topics that hit close to home for me and left me wanting to share that same encouragement.

    061 | Business Lessons From Our 2nd Flip House Sep 22, 2026
    Show notes

After closing on our first flip house, I quickly realized that every new project brings another round of lessons. We are now in the early stages of our second flip, what we hope will be a six-week renovation, and I am already seeing business lessons that have nothing to do with construction and everything to do with how you lead.

In this episode, I'm talking about being direct, standing firm in your decisions, navigating conflict, staying true to the original scope of a project, and recognizing when someone is taking advantage of what you are willing to offer. These are lessons that apply far beyond real estate. They show up when you are managing employees, working with clients, hiring help, setting expectations, and making decisions in your business.

If you are in a season of growth, this is your reminder that being kind does not mean being passive, and being generous does not mean allowing your boundaries to be crossed. You can lead with grace while still holding firm to what you have said, what you agreed to, and where your line in the sand is.

060 | Are You Quitting or Are You Done? Sep 15, 2026
    Show notes

In today's episode, I'm breaking down the difference between quitting and being done, because there is a very real distinction between the two, and understanding that difference matters.

I may get a little off topic throughout this conversation, but I keep coming back to what spiritually goes into quitting and how that can impact you, your decisions, and your business. I also talk about what it means to be done with a particular season, business, opportunity, strategy, or even a version of yourself that no longer fits where you're going. Sometimes walking away is quitting, and sometimes it's simply recognizing that something has come to an end.

My hope is that today's conversation brings you some freedom and clarity, especially if you've been questioning whether you should keep going or let something go. Whether you're in the middle of a difficult business decision, closing one chapter, or trying to understand what comes next, I hope this episode helps you move forward with greater peace and intention.

059 | What Does It Mean to Coast in Business? pt.2 Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

Last week, I talked about what it looks like to coast in business, and today I'm taking that conversation a step further. Because coasting well doesn't happen by accident. There are some essential things I need in place to be able to slow down, step back, and still keep my business moving.

For me, one of the biggest things is knowing where my revenue is coming from, even when I'm not showing my face, creating content, or actively selling every single day. I also talk about the importance of knowing exactly where your money is going. At one point, I realized I was spending nearly $7,500 a month on subscriptions and software I wasn't even using. That was a wake-up call that I needed to pay closer attention to my numbers.

Whether you're in a season of growth or a season of coasting, your business still needs structure, healthy systems, and financial awareness. In this episode, I'm sharing the things that have allowed me to coast without completely stepping away from my business, and why building that kind of foundation can give you freedom in every season of entrepreneurship.

058 | What Does It Mean to Coast in Business? pt.1 Sep 01, 2026
    Show notes

What does it actually mean to coast in business?

Coasting doesn't mean stepping away from your business completely, and it doesn't mean you're aggressively scaling, adding more, or pushing harder every single day. Sometimes, coasting simply means maintaining what you've built and giving yourself room to focus on other areas of life without everything in your business falling apart.

In today's episode, I'm sharing what coasting has looked like for me and my business over the past month. With life happening, school starting back up, and the beginning of my real estate flipping journey, I haven't been operating at full speed. Instead, I've been able to lean on the infrastructure, systems, team, and foundation I've built over the years.

057 | In Case No One Has Said This to You Aug 11, 2026
    Show notes

As I close out this season with my first flip property, I took a moment of reflection where I really needed to redefine the way I look at success. Years ago, I started looking at success in business in a much healthier way. Instead of obsessing over followers, likes, visibility, and other vanity metrics, I began paying attention to the numbers that actually matter: revenue, profit, cash flow, expenses, and the overall health of my business.

In today's episode, I'm challenging the way you define success as a woman in business. So many of us set mountain-high goals and then convince ourselves we are failing when we don't reach the peak fast enough. But what if success looks different than you thought it did? What if growing a profitable business, making wise decisions, serving your customers well, and simply continuing to build is something worth celebrating?

There are business owners operating at a loss. Some have no employees. Some have walked away from their businesses altogether. And some have settled for far less than what they were capable of building. If you are still showing up, making decisions, learning, adapting, and building your business, it may be time to recognize just how much success is already sitting in front of you.

    056 | Five Lessons at 55 Years Old Aug 04, 2026
    Show notes

This week I turned 55 years old, and reaching this milestone gave me the opportunity to reflect on the biggest lessons I've learned throughout my entrepreneurial journey. Some of these lessons came through success, while others came through hard seasons, difficult decisions, and plenty of trial and error.

In this episode, I'm sharing what I've learned about handling criticism and negative comments, protecting my peace, paying attention to my nervous system, creating healthier work habits, and making business decisions that are guided by wisdom instead of emotion.

If you're a woman building a business and looking for practical wisdom to help you lead with greater confidence, clarity, and sustainability, this conversation is for you.

055 | My Mistakes That Blew Up Our First Flip House Budget Jul 28, 2026
    Show notes

When I decided to take on my first fix and flip property, I had a plan for everything. I had a budget, a timeline, profit goals, and what I believed was a solid strategy. Like many entrepreneurs stepping into something new, I thought I had prepared for every possibility. What I quickly learned was that experience is often the greatest teacher.

In today's episode, I'm sharing the real story behind my first flip house, including the mistakes that significantly impacted our budget, the unexpected challenges we faced, and the lessons I wish I had known from the beginning. From purchasing decisions and demolition surprises to contractor issues and construction setbacks, this project taught me more than I ever anticipated.

We talk about the wins, the failures, the costly mistakes, and the mindset shifts that came from navigating a project that didn't go exactly according to plan. At one point, I had to face the reality that our budget had grown far beyond what I originally projected and our expected profit had been cut dramatically.

When I first stepped into the world of real estate investing, I was overwhelmed by vague advice, broad profit estimates, and plenty of people telling me what I "should" expect. The truth is, I wanted someone to give me an honest look at what getting started actually looks like.

In today's episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on my first fix and flip property and sharing the real story behind the experience so far. We'll talk about the wins, the challenges, working with great contractors, navigating difficult situations, and the lessons I've learned along the way. If you've ever considered investing in real estate or pursuing a new opportunity outside your comfort zone, this conversation is for you.

053 | The Customer is NOT Always Right! Jul 14, 2026
    Show notes

"The customer is always right" is one of the most common pieces of business advice, but is it actually true? In today's episode, we're challenging that mindset and talking about what it really means to serve your customers well without compromising your expertise, confidence, or boundaries as a business owner.

As women entrepreneurs, it's easy to take every complaint personally or assume that every misunderstanding is our fault. But the reality is that you are the expert in your business. You know your products, services, pricing, and processes better than anyone else. While customer feedback is valuable, not every criticism means you've done something wrong, and not every unhappy customer is an indication that your business is failing.
