Meghan McCain on Motherhood, Leaving 'The View,' and Cancel Culture Oct 14, 2022
    Show notes

Meghan McCain joins the podcast this week. We discuss it all — motherhood as a soon-to-be mom of two, her decision to leave The View and life after, and what it’s like to be a conservative woman who is often attacked for her opinions.

Meghan McCain is a former co-host of ABC’s The View, which she joined in October 2017. While at The View, the show rose to new heights, with McCain earning two daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. As the daughter of the late Senator John McCain, Meghan has been steeped in the high-stakes political arena since childhood. Often said to possess the McCain “maverick gene,” Meghan has no qualms about saying what is on her mind, bragging that she inherited “my dad’s heartburn-inducing ability to say what he thinks.” A powerful, singular role model for women and Republicans alike, McCain passionately discusses women’s issues, social issues, and LGBTQIA equality.

Identity Crisis: Mom Shares How School Affirmed Her 11-Year-Old’s Trans Identity Without Her Consent Sep 02, 2022
    Show notes

A very brave guest joins the podcast this week—Jennifer. She’s a mom who shares her story and her daughter’s story, and it’s one that has sadly become all too common. It’s the reality of how a young girl who wants to explore her sexuality and identity is then encouraged by classmates, teachers, and school counselors to come out as a boy without parental consent. Doing so has resulted in trauma, including her 11-year-old daughter contemplating cutting and suicide.

Jennifer has taken part in IWF’s “Identity Crisis” video series in hopes that she can help parents who feel lost, confused, and alone as a one-sided media echo chamber repeats the lie that in order to “save” your child, you must affirm your child’s chosen gender identity. So this conversation is to give you, parents, tools and insight so that you can help your own kids.

Chris Fenton on the Tangled Web of Chinese Influence in America Aug 19, 2022
    Show notes

Chris Fenton joins the podcast to discuss China’s influence in America and how it has evolved over the years. We explore the history of Hollywood and media in the culture and whether or not they can be a force for good. We also discuss the complicated place the U.S. business community finds itself in with the Chinese Communist Party—is it still possible to export American ideals through capitalism, or is that a thing of the past?

For seventeen years, Chris Fenton served as president of DMG Entertainment Motion Picture Group and GM of DMG North America—a multi-billion-dollar global media company headquartered in Beijing. He has produced or supervised twenty-one films, grossing $2 billion in worldwide box-office sales. Kristin Tate: Inflation — What You Need to Know Aug 12, 2022
    Show notes

On this week’s episode, Kristin Tate joins to help us examine the number one problem facing Americans — inflation. We cover the specifics of how we got here, but most importantly what we need to know moving forward. Will the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” really lower inflation? Will the Federal Reserve continue to raise interest rates? Should we brace ourselves for even harder economic times? What are the right policy steps to lower inflation?

Kristin Tate is a visiting fellow at Independent Women’s Forum. She writes a weekly column for The Hill newspaper and is the author of three books — The Liberal Invasion of Red State America, How Do I Tax Thee?, and Government Gone Wild. She also provides communication strategy to political campaigns, and has worked on statewide races in Texas. Red Alert Politics and Newsmax Magazine each named Kristin one of the 30 most influential right-of-center leaders under the age of 30 in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
