here is a battle happening right now between the community, pro players and Super Evil Megacorp and sadly someone is going to be the loser. It seems to be a very troublesome time for Vainglory and I do my best to try and keep it positive here on the podcast with asking a few questions. Joining me to chat about the game is Shanaenae, the guild leader of Renegade Wolves. The two of us chat about Gankstars, Maxbob, Challenger Series and Scout Cams.

Shatter The Vain 198: Welcome Back To Vainglory!
Mar 27, 2018
There seems to be an influx of players leaving and coming back to Vainglory lately. 5v5 has really divided the players. One of those players and content creators that I’m really excited to see coming back to Vainglory is TDog. TDog sort of vanished and I know a lot of people had questions. In this episode we dive into why he left and his plans now that he is re-entering the scene.

Shatter The Vain Minisode: Vainglory 5v5 Meta with ttigers
Feb 23, 2018
Welcome to another minisode of Shatter The Vain, these are sort of “Brawl Mode” episodes where we’ll focus on one topic that may not always be Vainglory related but will tie-in somehow. On this minisode, I’m joined by ttigers. There was a recent article that ttigers wrote on medium that gave some really good insight into the 5v5 meta in the current 3.0. This article gave some tips on how to do better jungle rotations and a few heroes that are pretty strong like weapon power Baptiste and Koshka. I wanted to get a little more information about this post and ttigers was nice enough to join me to go a little deeper

3.0 has been released and it seems like the Vainglory community is having a blast on Sovereign’s Rise! Joining me this week to talk about update 3.0 and give her thoughts on 5v5 is CatsNPizza. CatsNPizza is a great streamer that is involved with a number of different Vainglory projects, so be sure to give her a follow on Twitter and https://www.twitch.tv/catsnpizza.

It’s here! 3.0 is finally released and everyone in the Vainglory community can now enjoy Sovereign’s Rise!
This episode was recorded before the release of 3.0 and was more of a recap of what happened during the Pre-Launch party in San Francisco. There were so many great people at the party to chat and play Vainglory with; one of those people was WookieForc3. It seemed like a great idea to have someone on the show that was at the event too and is just as hyped for 5v5 as I am. WookieForc3 has been streaming Vainglory on Twitch for awhile now and everyone should be checking out his streams when you’re not listening to the podcast.
The golden ticket holders have now had 5v5 for about a week and it’s time to get some thoughts on how it’s feeling. Joining me to give me his insight is huhas. The two of us also talk about Cloud9 leaving Vainglory and the death of the forums.
Thanks for listening! Don’t forget if there is a question or suggestion for the podcast, please send it along, I’d love to continue to make this show better for everyone listening.
Here we are and 5v5 is now here for everyone with a golden ticket to play and enjoy. Right now we’re all still trying figure things out and there is lots of speculation on how it’s all going to shape up. Right now we’re in a slow news period for Vainglory as the SEMC gets ready for the 5v5 update. To continue the talk about 5v5, I’m joined once again by idmonfish. I wanted to have him on after the Vainglory Worlds, it just took a little while to make that happen. The two of us discuss his thoughts on 5v5 and what he’s currently seeing with the evolution; we also dive into the topic of the Vainglory forums being shut down and what it means.

We are just a couple weeks into the new year and I hope your 2018 is off to a vainglorious start. Last week CurvyBarbie touched on most of the major topics that have been running through Vainglory the last couple weeks but it’s always nice to hear some other thoughts. This week I’m joined by SiX1SE7EN to go over the UI changes, golden tickets and even Vainglory getting a joystick.

I hope everyone has been having a great holiday and your 2018 is off to a vainglorious start. The past couple weeks have been kind of crazy for Vainglory on social media and it’s almost hard to keep up with all the drama. Joining me to help breakdown what’s been happening is Curvy Barbie. Curvy Barbie also recently got a new role with Gankstars so we chat about that as well as some of the changes coming in update 2.12 and 3.0.

I hope everyone has been having a great holiday. There wasn’t a ton of Vainglory news this past week due to the holiday and the massive news reveal we got from 5v5. Now that we’ve all had some time to review and think about 5v5, I thought I’d share a few more thoughts and continue to share opinions on it. This week I’m joined by SuNzNick who recently started TeamOutFoX. I always love hearing about passionate peoples projects and I’m excited to see where he takes this moving forward.

It is finally here! We have all now seen the new 5v5 map and it look’s amazing. During the Vainglory Worlds we got to learn about Sovereign’s Rise, see a few matches played and learn how we can all get access to it before it’s release. Joining me to talk about what we saw in the 5v5 map is BLG3RNT. BLG3RNT also recently started his own podcast called The Queue where he’s diving into multiple Vainglory topics every week. The two of likely could have talked for a couple hours about what’s coming but I wanted to make sure we can save something for the next episode.

To help me rundown the changes in this update and give me some insight into why Lorelai was nerfed so hard is BrokenEyez. BrokenEyez is a streamer and plays quite a bit on the PBE so he’s been able to see these changes for a few weeks.
