    Sew Busty Jul 26, 2021
    Show notes

Lindsie Rank is the key force behind the Sew Busty Community. Many people who sew have contributed to the busty pattern database.

The Sew Busty Community is for anyone who is busty. Anyone who has ever had to do a full bust adjustment on a princess seam or for a full bust adjustment on a waist dart as just 2 of the most challenging examples.

Generally, Sew Busty Community content is focused on those with a 3″ or greater difference between their full and high bust measurements. At Sew Busty, they firmly believe all bodies are good bodies, and they aim to be inclusive of all busty sewists.

You'll hear the joy and confidence Lindsie has to continue to work with sewists who want information to adjust patterns so suit their chests. Make sure you contribute to the Busty Pattern Database on their website.

Great Bra Sewing Bee Jul 19, 2021
    Show notes

Sue and Emma Folts' vision of the Great Bra Sewing Bee is to bring together bra sewists from around the world to enhance their skills, connect with businesses, and celebrate this beautiful art form. Brabuilders.com owned by Emma Folts, has pulled together skilled teachers and lingerie businesses to make this goal a reality.

Sue began making custom bras to use her sewing skills to help women get the bra they couldn't find in retail stores. As Sue says, it's cheaper to make your own bras and having a 4 day event that covers a myriad of bra topics is a great way to finally get your bra sewing game on.

There is a team of over 25 presenters and over 70 learning options available from 4 - 8 August 2021.

    Shoulder fit part 1 Jun 21, 2021
    Show notes

Gabby Brown wrote 3 shoulder adjustment posts for Sewcialists that you simply must read to identify and fit this area of your clothes.

The shoulder is arguably the most fit critical area in garments made for the upper half of the body. Problems stemming from the shoulder affect overall garment balance, can cause draglines through the entire garment, and can cause great discomfort while wearing.

The next podcast will have more details for fitting shoulders that Gabby details in 2 posts for Sewcialists. Make sure you go back and listen to all of Gabby's podcasts for great fitting advice. Gabby's posts list reputable information sources she has vetted so you are reading good information.
