397: Bobby Wagner Returns to Seattle Jan 06, 2023

Show notes

The Seahawks get back to .500 with a win at home over the New York Jets in Week 17. It comes down to the final week against a division rival to see if the Seahawks can close the season with a winning record. But why did the NFL make a decision around the schedule that has the potential to impact the Seahawks playoff chances? Should it matter?

Bobby Wagner is making his first visit to Seattle since joining the Los Angeles Rams and nobody is talking about why he should or shouldn't be booed. Why is it so different from the situation with Russell Wilson back in the first week of the season?

We look at the situation the Seahawks find themselves in with the 2023 NFL Draft. They're guaranteed a top 5 pick thanks to the trade with the Broncos, and they could even end up with another top 10 pick depending on how the final week of the season plays out. We discuss what the worst outcome would be in terms of their draft status.

The guys also reflect back to earlier in the week when Damar Hamlin suffered a devastating injury and all of the thoughts that surrounding a moment that will stick with many of us for a long time. Fortunately, there have been several positive reports on his health as we approach the end of the week.

Live & UnCatfished: Seahawks vs Jets Postgame Reaction Jan 02, 2023

Show notes

The Seahawks got out to an early lead against the New York Jets and never looked back. The Jets secondary, however, were able to shut down DK Metcalf limiting him to just three yards on the day. But it was Ken Walker and DeeJay Dallas combining for more than 200 yards that propelled the offense. Even though the defense gave up a fair share of explosive plays, they were able to make stops when necessary and limit the Jets to just two field goals. The win puts the Seahawks in position to take the seventh seed in the playoffs next week, but they're going to need some help. Tune in as we talk about the potential playoff scenarios if all goes to plan next week.

PNW Prop Stars: Seahawks vs Jets Top Bets for Week 17 Dec 31, 2022

Show notes

This week on PNW Prop Stars, Adam rifles in his picks from the middle of an atmospheric river from an undisclosed location in Eastern Oregon. He bets on the Geno show to keep on rocking, Clinton thinks the party may be over and takes the under. Wilson, meanwhile, is unconvinced about the alleged talents of Mike White. The trio feels generally uneasy about this week's bets, as both sides of the ball begin to cause concerns for the Seahawks.

396: Geno Smith Revenge Tour - The Final Leg Dec 30, 2022

Show notes

The Seattle Seahawks continue to struggle after the bye week. This past week, the defense was able to hold together well enough, but the offense struggled to put points on the board. Has that changed our feelings at all as to how the Seahawks should approach a potential contract this offseason with Geno Smith? Fortunately, this week presents a great opportunity for a revenge game for both Geno and Pete Carroll. It also gives Tariq Woolen an opportunity to steal the Defensive Rookie of the Year spotlight away from Sauce Gardner.

With the ability to make the playoffs on the line these final two weeks, and a road to secure the top spot in the 2023 NFL Draft, we take a look at the scenarios. Who do we need to be cheering on in Week 17? It gets a bit cloudy when it comes to the Lions and Packers games, though, because of the playoffs and the possibility for tie breaker scenarios as well as the Seahawks draft interest.

Four Seahawks made the Pro Bowl roster this year, but Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf were snubbed to the alternate list. Is it bias or are they taking votes from each other? Adam provides us with Tyler's theory in the Better at Life segment after he names the state with the worst winter drivers. The Cardinals franchise also needs to Do Better and Patrick Star helps close the show with his call featuring two former Seahawks.
