The Dispatch sat down for an interview with Mary Jenkins, the first former patient to file a lawsuit against Katharine Roxanne Grawe. Jenkins underwent a breast reconstruction by Grawe in 2012. She suffered from complications for several months and believes she almost died as a result of them.

Years before she became TikTok famous, Dr. Katharine Roxanne Grawe performed a double breast reconstruction on Beth Benadum in April 2014. Benadum said she suffered multiple infections due to her surgery by Grawe. She ultimately underwent 10 procedures to correct what she said were Grawe’s mistakes.

An attorney for one of those patients told The Dispatch she would have died had she not called 911. Despite the outcomes of the three patients, Grawe pleaded for the medical board to give her a second chance.
