Ben attended the Berklee School of Music to study Drum Performance and has been on a continuous and determined pursuit of his musical dreams from very early on in his life. Now, with Goose's soon-to-be legendary meteoric rise in popularity during Covid and beyond, Ben is making the best of his new found success. Ben's preparation, both mentally and physically has prepared him well for the rigors of tour as he brings it hard every show to fans new and old in sold out shows across the U.S. in stunning and hard-driving performances night after night. Sadie is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her first releases which became the foundation of Speedy Ortiz and has issued a new, re-mixed album entitled The Death of Speedy Ortiz & Cop Kicker... Forever. Available now on streaming services, the physical version of the anniversary album will be available on January 28. Sadie is also at the helm of her indie punk solo project, Sad13, and as if that's not enough, also runs the Wax Nine record label. With a poetry MFA, Sadie has crafted amazing songs filled with clever and complex themes that are a joy to listen to. While having toured globally with her band, Sadie is very hands-on and continues to exude a DIY spirit in everything she does. Advocacy is her forte, and is actively involved in UMAW, a musician's advocacy group working for equality, transparency and safety for musicians and those in the industry. Ethan is as prolific as he is talented and hardcore, and has a new album, The Dharma Wheel, released in October of this year. Howlin' Rain has been together for upwards of 15 years and during that time, Ethan has also steered several other projects including Heron Oblivion, Feral Ohms and Comets on Fire -- all of which rock very hard, but all in very different and subtle ways. Ethan also owns and runs Silver Current Records which features Wooden Shjips and Earthless in addition to his own multitude of projects. But perhaps most importantly, Howlin' Rain live shows are absolute explosions of sound and energy and Ethan has spent years on the road with his band honing his live craft while learning many lessons and taking copious notes on being "out there." Devon is fresh off a summer tour with Allman Betts Band and is primed and ready to talk about all things Allman, including the upcoming Allman Family Revival tour that kicks off in late November 2021. Devon is an intriguing human with a super compelling story about his relationship with his father, Gregg Allman, with whom he had no contact until Devon was well into his teenage years. It's a compelling and heartwarming story about reconciliation, forgiveness and the power of family. Join us for this conversation with the amazing and extraordinarily talented guitarist, Yasmin Williams, whose unique fingerstyle and percussive techniques on guitar is a sight to behold. Yasmin began playing guitar early in her young life, tapping and plucking the guitar strings while tapping her feet as well to keep the rhythm. It's a stunning demonstration of virtuoso playing, fully demonstrated on her most recent album, Urban Driftwood, released in 2020. Yasmin recently performed at Newport Folk, and at the Ryman Auditorium, and was featured on a recent episode of Tiny Desk Home Edition. Yasmin is also up for Grammy consideration as Best New Artist and the Urban Driftwood album is up for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, among other categories.
