    S.G. Goodman (Singer Songwriter) Oct 13, 2022
    Show notes

Welcome to Roadcase!! We are absolutely delighted to have S.G. Goodman with us for this week's episode when S.G. sat down with Josh just prior to her show at Schubas in Chicago during this stop on her very first headlining tour. Her recently released second album, Teeth Marks, is a simply stellar work of remarkable scope and comes close on the heels of her first effort, Old Time Feeling, released in 2020 and produced by none other than Jim James of My Morning Jacket. In the wake of her debut album, S.G. was lauded by Rolling Stone as an "untamed rock n roll truth-teller," and Teeth Marks is no exception. Her brutal honesty and courage is put on display as she covers a myriad of tough subjects, from self-love to the opioid crisis to deep trauma that lingers in the body. Much like her live performance, Teeth Marks is a poignant and compelling example of vulnerability combined with the power of music and the human spirit. In this unique and powerful conversation, we cover tons of ground while exploring S.G.'s personal background and why these topics are of such profound importance to her. So climb aboard the Roadcase bus for this amazing listen and learn more about the world of S.G. Goodman. It's gonna be a great ride!!

Patrick Holland (Singer Songwriter) Sep 30, 2022
    Show notes

Welcome to Roadcase!! We're very excited to have the extraordinarily talented Patrick Holland on the show. Primarily known for his electronic music as Project Pablo, Patrick has just released his first guitar-driven, indie pop album entitled You're The Boss. Having spent years touring the world playing DJ sets and festivals, Patrick became disenchanted with the Electronica scene and has taken a turn inward, writing and performing his own songs, and to his own surprise, finally put his own voice out there, singing his own lyrics. The contrast of these two worlds is striking yet Patrick is up for the challenge, confronting his own demons head on as he moves forward in his most authentic way possible. It's wonderful and refreshing -- and the finished product of Patrick's initial foray into this new lane has yielded a beautiful, melodic, and wholly original musical effort. So hop on the Roadcase bus to learn about this intriguing and thoughtful artist, Patrick Holland. It's gonna be a great ride!!

Corey Harper (Singer Songwriter) Sep 28, 2022
    Show notes

Welcome to Roadcase!! We're super psyched to have Corey Harper on the show this week. His new album, Future Tense, is out now and we were pumped to sit down for a lengthy chat with this new and exciting artist. Corey grew up in Vancouver, WA, not too far from Portland, Oregon, where he would head to catch the latest and greatest shows. But this athlete turned performing artist and songwriter started out in a low-key fashion, writing lyrics and crafting songs in the quiet of his own room, still unsure of his own future in music but very confident he had something special to share. Having moved to LA in 2016, he has opened for and toured with a number of massive artists since then including Justin Bieber, with whom he has developed a personal and professional relationship. While Covid threatened to crush his momentum and derail his dream, he got busy in the studio during that time with producer Alex Salibian (Harry Styles, The Head and The Heart), and emerged over a year later with this remarkable new album. His story is one of perseverance, determination, inspiration and focus. So hop on the Roadcase Bus and don't forget your sunscreen 'cause we're headed to Malibu for this one, Roadies. It's gonna be a great ride!!
